I feel his reaction near the deadline was town.

Titus and Infinity, I wanted to fully reread Day 1 to refresh myself with the particulars of the Creature lynch. While reading, I found this in F-oh-ex's first post:

I feel like mario's deadline activity could be scum giving up; he seemed to be not very invested in the game no matter his alignment.

Why didn't he push the crab counterwagon?

It's possible that he wanted to get towncred, and it's possible he had just given up at the point. It is town points in his favor, I admit.

So I read up to page 24, and it seemed that the Creature wagon ended there to be replaced by the Crabman wagon. So here's some thoughts I had on that.

Looking ar smithereen's post again this really bothers me. Creature never said that they got a town read from like one post or something, it was based on the pushes people were making across multiple pushes.

Because he draws virtually no conclusions from this "reread". The reread does little to answer my question. Like for instance was the townie that died N1 pushing Creature. It's busywork designed to look like Eggman is doing something, but he really isn't.

The part about busywork is fair, though it's not really fair to say he doesn't draw conclusions since he's not finished yet.

I don't read unless directed to something specific. My interpretation is that Egg is scum and needs to die.
