I NEVER avoided defending Nexus. I ACTIVELY and OPENLY discouraged his wagon, because I believed it to be bad and poorly founded. I said that I processed your case, yes, and I understand why that may have caused confusion, but in the SAME BREATH, I said I don't think the things you pointed out are alignment-relative to Nexus (and still don't). I processed your case in the sense that it improved your stance, alignment-wise, in my eyes, but not as far as making Nexus scum, and I really clearly stated that.
My defense of Nexus was a step below CDB's, because it lacked his confidence and experience, and I never tried to pretend otherwise, but I've openly called him town ALL GAME until today. All day.
You really don't have a conception of what is a soft defense and what is a hard defense, and you're town, so it's quite a tedious discussion.

Okay we'll either I need to turn in my I can read tierce card or she's just stepped up her scum game and decided to interact with me the way she does when town.
Ill read back through her tomorrow; i would do it now but this pain pill is kicking in and im about to fall out. I'm out of town again this weekend, but ill have more time than before.
But off the top of my head a tierce scum flip clears cabd and amrun, though this has already been mentioned, and they were town reads of mine anyway. I just do not see a universe where tierce sticks her neck out to hard defend a buddy the way she did killer apple. Also don't see her interacting with a buddy the way she did amrun, and amruns frustration with the way tierce was talking to her felt too real.
I don't remember her interaction with venmar, so ill look at that but I have him town too anyway.
Ill look at it more closely but I also want to say desperado is stronger town as well. If I'm remembering correctly she made a case on him day one that wasn't sparked by anything else. She didn't push it super hard or come back to it, I don't think, but I have a hard time seeing her call attention to a buddy for no reason.
More tomorrow

I take it back, tsunami isn't town from that flip.
But is still more likely town than scum in general.

Sorry guys, been neglecting this but will catch up at the first opportunity. RL stuff I'm afraid taking priority.
Bear with me unless I am needing to address something directly aimed towards me?

Yeah, you got tracked to the kill last night. Explain yourself.
No, not really. Sort your IRL stuff out and we'll expect you back soon.

Well I was about to ask how I was tracked anywhere then, but I am in the process of reading up, I just finished a game off so my time is freeing up more. This game I have neglected too much because of all the in knowledge you seem to have on each other which makes me feel more of an outsider, and then there was all the crap with MS that made me hate this game in the early stages.
Next post when I get on the laptop will be a player assessment.

Reckoner lists two consensus townreads and then only goes as far to list two "maybe" scumreads.

Kill
Desperado
Cabd
xReckonerx
ChannelDelibird - I, for one, do not think he's obvtown
Ankamius
Venmar
Keep
Generic
Amrun
tsunami
Nexus
Nah, don't like the scumteam implications of that Kill list, doesn't feel right from everything I remember reading through in this game. tsunami and Nexus I may be applying stale cred. Let's take some possible Tierce interactions and make them town...
Kill
Desperado
Cabd
xReckonerx
CDB
tsunami
Nexus
Keep
Ankamius
Venmar
Generic
Amrun
Generic is a words-based only inclusion, not a vote-based inclusion. I could see it... Keep for now, more monitoring to occur. Same with Amrun, but I more heavily lean town on her than Generic.

I'm still rereading (around page 22 at the moment) but a couple of the things that I really latched onto early on may not be as alignment-indicative as I thought and his interactions with Tierce look bad. More when I'm finished.
May have to leave mid-reread at any moment. Considering an operating theory of Tierce-Generic-Tsunami-Nexus? scumteam, although it's probably too early for me to put that in writing as I risk confirmation-biasing myself. Oh well, too late.
Nexus, talk me through your read of me. It's veered to and fro but I can barely tell when or why.

I've finished rereading, by the way, and I am comfortable with the three I mentioned as likeliest buddies for Tierce.
Venmar is my strongest townread. Amrun and Cabd are not far behind. Of the people I haven't included in the buddy bracket, Reck is the next likeliest but I don't think I'd like to go there today.
May vote Nexus depending on how he answers #1616.

I was leaning scum towards you when you were hardcore calling me town despite the fact I'd done fuck all, but the fact you're now actually putting an effort into trying to read me properly, rather relying on faux meta from f2f makes me think you're town.
CDB pinged your scumdar because he was calling you town even though you were being scummy as fuck, but now he's starting to see it and he's being ridiculous?
You also never responded to these posts:
In post 1408, Desperado wrote:Nexus, you said that Metal's fake dayvig was townbad because it got reactions and generated discussion. I'd like to see what you think were the most fruitful reactions that it got and analyze them. Because from my POV all it did was get him lynched.
And my main issue is that you spent the entire game pointing out "bad" things and calling people scum for them, but then metal does something bad and he's magically town without any further explanation. If you thought his fake dayvig was good for generating discussion and analyzing reactions...why didn't you do any of that yesterday? Why did you call metal town and sit on the sidelines while he got strung up?
In post 536, Venmar wrote:I feel like Nexus far too easily flips his reads upon light of a claim.
Isn't this what most people do?
Surely you should be saying this about everyone who unvoted when KA claimed? They're changing their reads in light of a claim. Particularly those who jumped on a different wagon straightaway.
The rest of your post is just you saying things that I can't particularly argue against, and using my scum game as Breaking Bad is cute but this is the way I've spent the last year or so playing, scum or town so.
The fact that you're absolutely adamant that I'm scum, and wasted your time making that post, but don't seem to be looking at other candidates is worrying.
Desperado's jump is horrific.
I would like to discuss the merits of scum/town replacing out at some point, but either way it's a dick move by KA, and it only serves to cause more confusion.
In post 669, Cabd wrote:Reckoner totally ignored my questions and wanted to put me out there as the dayvigger so whatever, he's prob scums.
who the fuck are you?
I hope that's a "who the fuck are you" in regards to the site, rather than in regards to this game, because if you didn't know who he was re: the game, that would mean you weren't reading the game, and that would be very naughty indeed.
In post 726, Nexus wrote:Fucking hell Reck. Keep up. Make it at least look like you give a shit.
I was thinking about it over the weekend, and CDB's insistence on calling me town is beginning to ping my scumdar.
I will give more thoughts when I'm less swamped.
So from the time you said metal's play was bad but town to telling us that CDB is pinging your scumdar, Metal went from 4 votes, to 3, and then back up to 5 without a legitimate wagon to counteract. Two RL days after your #905 Metal is lynched.
Here's what I see: I see a player getting (based on their prior scumhunting) a completely unfounded townread, and then worrying more about their own image--despite the fact that they were never in danger of getting lynched yesterday--over defending that townread as their lynch became imminent and that's behavior I would expect from scum, not town.

This is dumb. I haven't read the game. I read like that page and part of Tierce's ISO. I even expressed my surprise at the fact that my "maybe" scumreads happened to line up with the votes. But this is pretty much another confirmation to me that you're scum: you're completely ignoring context and trying to twist it around into a reason to vote me, because your options are dwindling.
