I'm really not happy about this, and I don't know how to approach it any other way.

The fact that so many players are jumping through hoops to justify keeping a 95% guilty player alive is embarrassing and reminds me why I don’t play mafia anymore.

I am a better mafia player than you point blank and I am advocating for this half measure plan. Because it's optimally correct and forces scum into the most interesting positions.
Because it forces people to take stances pro/con galron instead of it being a clean sweep
because it means we get to find scum interactions that aren't just hopeless bussing and death, if Galron is scum. And if he's town, we get utility.
There is NO GOOD REASON to be against the play that WISDOM and I BOTH AGREE ON.
That is 2 very good players who rarely agree, agreeing. That should tell you something.
If you're tired of people playing optimally and looking for cool angles, I don't know what to tell you, but don't pretend this is some kind of "people are playing mafia poorly."
Scumread me then motherfucker. In post 1596, Bowser Jr. wrote:LLD, please vote for Galron. If you fail to do so by the end of the Day phase, I will consider it a scum claim.
PEdit: @marci I am 95% sure Galron is scum based on all of the information provided today. I am not even close to like 50% sure about anyone else. Limming Galron here is a no brainer and the fact that getting votes on him is like pulling teeth is incredibly concerning and frustrating.

seems like shading wheme for not having an evident PR despite having claimed oneIn post 389, Dunnstral wrote:Their lips art sewn so has't they decre'd. Boom. Roasted.
VOTE: skybird
Wheme wagon is faltering but I don't see why, the voting / posting pattern is weird af.
Granted I don't know Wheme. And maybe given his posts there's something mechanical happening here. But he's null at absolute best
pav is obvtown so this is a bad vote trying to tie obvtown to what I'm betting was a scumflip
two problems with this, first is trying to allay suspicion onto LLD despite having vouched for LLD earlier in the post belowIn post 1103, Dunnstral wrote:When you've barely done anything yourself and you've somehow homed in on me despite LLD only voting so far.In post 1085, Dunnstral wrote:It must be fun to grandstand rather than engage with meIn post 1080, Child of Fairies wrote:At this point it'd pretty much just be "put enough pressure on him that he actually does something", hence why I'd rather go with OtH.In post 1069, Lukewarm wrote:That is a very very weak read on Dunn though. I feel Galron is probably scum, but I agree with the mechanical call more.
I can see that defense for CA but I call all the bullshit regarding True Love, your lover partner was probably the key reason you didn't get yeeted with extreme force that game.In post 1588, Dunnstral wrote:I'm not lurking in the first 2 games, I'm town in the last game.In post 1580, Off The Hook wrote:https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=87781 - Chromatic Ascension, Dunn was Knight Beige

some (semi-)recent samples of lurkscum Dunn
there could be others from games I didn't keep tabs on but it's hard to verify how his posting rate measures to each game without doing some fancy shit I lack the time for

Okay, if you don't want to die I'm going to need you to stop making really bad posts like this.In post 1608, Galron wrote:If Notsci thinks I'm scum, he and Spiffy are moving into my scum pile along with Pav and Dunn.
Because making bad calls, looking suspicious or trying to kill someone are not scum indicators all the time.In post 1611, Galron wrote:Bowser is making a really bad call here. Why should I relent even under threat?

He's been under radar this entire phase while I've been put to the fire after he defended Juliet all day yesterday

If you want to kill me, do it. But I'm not going to stop speaking my mind. I'm tired of this bullshit being pushed around in every game I play.In post 1612, Lady Lambdadelta wrote:Like, Galron you need to understand something.
You're alive basically at my mercy right now. That means the moment you stop being useful, I'm murdering you.
Right now, you have role utility but also you have vote utility.
The minute you start making bad reads and suggesting you're gonna try and kill townies, you lose half your potential utility. Even if you're town and wrong, the needle starts to push too far past "is this worth it" when you do that.
So that's like, your warning.
If you'd read my posts you'd see that is a false statement. In post 1618, DeasVail wrote:This post was meant to be accompanied byIn post 1615, DeasVail wrote:In post 1599, Lady Lambdadelta wrote:That is 2 very good players who rarely agree, agreeing. That should tell you something.
"I can't handle this stroking of Wisdom's ego, but otherwise, good post.
Galron I thought you were only voting Dunn as the biggest counter, not due to Dunn being in your scumpile"
lol are you scum with dunnstral? In post 1616, Galron wrote:He's been under radar this entire phase while I've been put to the fire after he defended Juliet all day yesterday
