Marci comes off to me as someone who's either actively trolling the game, or someone who just has absolutely no idea how to play it. I constantly oscillate back and forth between these feelings.

I'm trying to read her through the actions of others (Such as thinking Alex scum = Marci town), because it all comes off as so fake that she's completely unreadable to me. I may as well just flip a coin on her otherwise.

To be blunt, you've done little that resembles actually playing to begin with. It's a self-defeating stance to hinge on.

You barely generate content, and you get sussed for it. You then complain about the suspicion without acknowledging it's that kind of unhelpful behavior that generates that suspicion on you in the first place. Like, regardless of your alignment, you've gotten nothing your own play doesn't warrant.

You don't seem to understand that are the problem, not everyone else.

But like, what am I supposed to do?? Like Marci, I scumread your early game, and scumread your later posts as well. I tried backing off for a bit to avoid tunneling and I still found your posts scummy. If I think you're mafia am I supposed to just do nothing about it???

Pedit: I mean I like actually explicitly asked for other people's input on my read yesterday twice and iirc got zero responses so like it's not just you, people just don't interact with each other that often in mafia games (and also people tend to assume naked reads are gut and if the person wanted to elaborate they would?)

Probably just focus on others? If you towncase yourself that will just make me think "ok well if she's saying that she thought it would look towny so she could've faked it" so it might just be a waste of time. Idk obviously there are exceptions to this and people can present convincing reasons to townread themselves but
