Eh. If the scum infect me, it's their loss--literally. When I say there's a night and day difference between my towngame and my scumgame right now, that I fundamentally cannot get myself to put in more than the bare minimum, , so there would be an immediate contrast in my behavior, where, sure, I'd still be posting once a day to avoid getting prodded, but my content would plummet off a cliff into nonexistence pretty much.

Plus, scum infecting me would, presumably, be obvious when I'd flip as originally-town-that-was-infected, tantamount to the scum nightkilling me, soooo. If the scum want to spend what amounts to basically a factional nightkill on me, then who am I to complain? It means they saw me as a threat. That's an honor.

Geez! Just when I was considering reconsidering my read on you. It says the infection is a factional thing, and the infected are NOT "Mafia" themselves. They are 3P aligned with the Scum. That is why the mod has them as a separate entity when stating the wincons. It says the win con for Mafia/Infected, which is a clear indication Infected =/= Mafia, and thus Infected canNOT infect people, because ONLY MAFIA CAN.

Now I challenge you to design a game with your stated/allegedly perceived mechanics, and make it remotely balanced. You've got until the end of the year.

Like, really... Mafia is lucky enough to infect a Fruit vendor on N1 (say), and on N2 they infect a Hider, while the FV infects some other player. That'd be 3 infected already by the start of D3, and then by the start of D4 the Mafia infect someone and each of their recruits infects another and we have 6 infected + 3 Mafia + 3 lynched + 2 killed (assuming they don't kill an infected player). The game is fucking over already because there's no way we can lynch 3 Mafia before the Mafia + Infected gain parity.

in fairness, a50 did say "infect" as if he was still aware that its not like all 3 really can recruit but the way he put it was still very very strange.
