I play with a friend that is very good at this game.
Last game he was 12-1.
I was 4-3-14.
Like every match I finish I have like a tons of assist and nearly no kills.
A lot of heros don't go for kills, if you're not a carry then you don't need lots of kills.

Jumping in front of Cait's Ult to save each other was SO MUCH WIN.

Buttonman, your Nidalee needed the blue buff, not you. Nidalee is always number 1 priority when it comes to blue buff late game and I have no idea why your team thought it would be a good idea to give the monkey it.

There are 2 blue buffs that are just as accessible late game if you're winning.

I had their blue most of the time, we had complete map control and were farming their buffs from their jungle or their bodies.

2nd priority is Kassadin.
Look at your nidalee, lucidity boots instead of merc treads(the norm for nidalee). I wonder why she did that?

Kind of hard to make sure he lands the killing blow?
And Nid had our blue buff pretty much everytime it was up?

Zepher I'm just stating what was optimal given team comp of both sides.
Kassadin casting a spell to last hit the blue is fine. If you are building your boots around the chance of acciedently stealing blue from Kass then that's a bit silly isn't it?

....Not lasting the blue, that's goddamn easy I mean on the enemy hero with blue, we're level 30's with over 600 games played we know the basics.

If the nidalee had max cd reduc, which she probably should have if she had boots of lucidity and cd runes (Which you want to run on her), then blue buff goes to kassadin.

...
You're saying that the enemy champion had blue and that it's hard to give kassadin the last hit on him? I thought you told me you had full map control and were taking their blues at spawn?
If the nidalee had flat cdr runes, they had a little under 6% CDR from that. Then they get 15% from Lucidity, and then blue buff gives you an extra 20%. So Nidalee would still want the blue buff.
You wouldn't have blue buff during the fight, only after, so planning your boots for that is silly.

Yes?
He had no survivability, Kass can't wait in fights, he ults in with 5-6 stacks, spews, null spheres then ults over a wall before he can get shredded, he can't stand around waiting for an opportunity to make sure that null sphere will get a kill.
I mean if it's clean up then yes Kass can just run anyone down and kill them but if it's the main fight then no you can't guarentee he's going to end up getting the kill.

Junpei comes off as a prat in this conversation tbh.
Like, you have no idea what was going on in that game. Maybe nidalee rushed lucidity boots straight away? Maybe the kassadin was playing horribly, never with team when they were taking blue, feeding when he did get it (his score was hardly stellar)? He also had an archangel staff, so the whole "need blue to ult six times in succession" thing is not so bad anyway. I mean, I have no doubt you're a better player than most of the people in this thread (elo doesn't lie) but like, you're just looking at a score screen and going "YOUR BOOTS ARE WRONG". Reducing the slows is also really important for melee dps and they had one of the strongest in the game in karthus wall.
I dont either, as I wasn't in the game, but at best it's a marginal choice. He's probably already pushing the harder of the soft caps in movespeed making further movespeed cost inefficient.

I'm honestly just trying to help...
Nidalee's boots are fine, I think it was good choice on her part.
If Kassadin was doing that bad he would have said something about it by now.
MK was already extremely fast, he said as much. I'm pretty sure he had Flash and if so then he could even risk to flash in and ult with his team right behind him. MK's ult has a nice CC element to it which is great for initiation. As such I don't think that Kayle/Karthus would be able to slow him effectively at all. The burst of Kassadin and Teemos' hard deeps are more important than MK in that team.
Once again, I'm not saying you're bad, I'm just trying to help you out. It's just that when you play against highly aware people you have to be able to analyze the situation and theorycraft in your head and anticipate what is most likely going to happen so that you are geared up correctly.
I'll stop coming in here and pointing these things out now though since it clearly just comes off as me trying to say "haha i'm betr than u". My apologies.

You forgot masteries, and as nid you go 9/0/21
EDIT-She would ahve been a good 5-10 percent off the cap, in which it's her responsibility to grab a blue elixir.

8% from masteries isn't it?
So that gives the nidalee about 12.3% more she can take. Hmm, I would still give it to the nidalee though over MK, Kassadin is second priority though so I can see why you would give to Kass... That's a good point though. You're topping off with extra cdr, but the thing is that Nidalee needs the mana regen too so she can spam heal/poke without OOMing, so in the end I think it still goes to nidalee.

So not to cause a shitstorm, but any HoN players in this thread?
<_<
I play all three, and they're all good games, but I am bad at Dota and don't play LoL enough to say I'm good. HoN I'm pretty good at.
I'd be down to play any of the games though. Any vent or mumble servers that you're all in?
