No, it doesn't. What you do in that position is to get obv scum lynched, then use the
certain knowledge
of his alignment everyone now has to lynch his buddy tomorrow by showing links between them. It makes zero sense to 'fight the case' today as opposed to tomorrow.

WHEN FIND SCUMBAG, YOU WANT LYNCH SCUMBAG, YES? SPEAK THE ENGLISH GOOD?

that would only work if said links exist. As far as im aware, thats not the case here. It is necessary to push a case on you today, because if i dont, ill still be killed if we have a tomorrow, and we'll lose.

Wouldn't it help in pushing a case if you actually MADE one, BM?

Just saying over and over that someone is scum does not constitute a case.

What case do you have against Elmo?
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

PJ my life is so hectic at the moment that I havent been able to do a full reread so please set your deadline. Ive read enough of the game to be able to play fully. I am awaiting for BM to answer Bookie's questions.
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

So essentially I'm scum with Porochaz, but through four replacements and 67 pages, we've distanced perfectly, and there are no links you can find that might even indicate we're scumbuddies?

Wonder why that might be?

While we wait, what do you think of Elmo and Battle Mage?

Any thoughts on the game so far?

Eh, the only bit of anything damning I can find on you is that CES was defending your predecessor as town.

(Knowing Mirth doesnt believe in metas, I do though)

Elmo has been quite quieter than usual in this game than Im used to him being. I dont know if that becaue I missed some part but anyway... I dont find him particularly scummy, just quite quiet between you, Mirth and BM.

BM is his usual self. From what I have read he's been quite inconsistent...

All the replacements aso make this hard to understand. I believe that the fact that Mirth and Bookie are confirmed masons and that they are both confirmed to each other. I dont really believe there not exactly who they say they are

Also what made you come to your decision on there being 2 scum left?

As for me Ive just realised I havent read enough of this game to make valued opinions. So more reading is in order but wow, since I replaced in I havent stopped due to exams and moving back home and a mix up at my work where I start a week earlier than Im meant to. (ie.tomorrow)

Worst case scenario is that we have two scum left.

So it's safer to assume that way. If we had only one, then we could be less careful in who we lynch. But we just don't know.

Battle Mage, before we lynched CES, you were saying Elmo was obvscum. What made you think so at that time? You never explained that.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Obviously I don't agree, and I've read the entire game, BM.

Anything specific you can point to?

Grr, i hate this game so much.

you see what i'm saying? I feel like i'm just killing time and boosting my post count here. This game ended months ago. You guys just want to drag it out to irritate me, because i HATE being called scum when i'm not. :x

You dont think Elmo is scummy, then surely today is just between me and Porochaz? That being the case, i dont think the order matters. If Porochaz is the last scum, we'll still win. If Elmo is scum, we still lose.

This game was lost a long time ago.

I mean ffs. Why would you even say that?? You claim to have read the game, and not found him scummy. So WHY ASK ME IF I CAN POINT TO ANYTHING SPECIFIC. WHY EVEN ASK ME WHAT I THOUGHT WAS SCUMMY IF YOU WERE JUST GOING TO IMMEDIATELY DISREGARD IT!?

I'm afraid i'm not doing any more dogsbody work unless there is actually a purpose.

Kitty, if there are 2 scum, I think we've already lost, as BM said. If there's one scum and we mislynch, we still might lose. I think I'm ready to vote now, what do you think?

Technical Rules

[05] When a deadline has been placed, I will require only a majority of what would normally be a majority for a lynch (i.e. 7 players needs 4 to lynch, so I would require 3 to lynch in such a scenario). If this number is not reached, day will end in no-lynch, and the game will progress directly into night.
If the town is in a Lynch-or-Lose situation, however, there will be no lowered requirements for lynching.
Mod
: A majority of 3 is 2. Whether we are in lynch-or-lose depends on the number of scum, which I don't know. Do we need 2 votes to lynch at deadline, or do we need to lynch normally with 3 votes before then?
