If you'll refer to the sign up thread, I did preface my in to this game as it being a bad idea given my October workload. I'm keeping up quite well all things considered.

well I was defending you there, you didn't need to roll over like you did but your posting was towny

I read your ISO and changed my mind and think you're town now. it's happening to me a lot nowadays that I simply forget why I was townreading certain slots. I've agreed your early posting was towny, or at least I remember I was townreading it in my head, but then forgot it happened cause it's been days and you're never around. I'm burnt out but I'm trying.

My wiki is up to date for anyone who feels like they need to use a metal argument against me. Ive been playing quite a while though, so I'm pretty aware of my own meta and can shift it when necessary, so trust or distrust at your own peril. That being said, I was assigned the Innocent Child role in Meta Playstyle, which I thought was pretty funny.

One doesn't simply rush perfection. Plus I'm tired now and watching anime. Two things that may seem contradictory but you'd be surprised.

Will post one tommorow tho.

Anyone who cares, I rely largely on my gut and my child psychology degree for determining motivation of posting styles. Typically I can very rarely adequately explain town and scum reads on Day 1, but I tend to not second guess myself. It works pretty well for me.

I come from a long history on another site that lynching anything that doesn't share the same wincon as you is always the right play, and stick to my opinion that the correct play today is still lynch the variable that can hurt town in the long run. People are a bit softer here and willing to give it a pass, but I've yet to play a game where a lynch can be reserved for a later time and that luxury maintained it's status quo through the game.

this doesnt ring pure to you jingle?
It does read as genuine to me. It doesn't read as a post scum can't make genuinely though, which is more of what I'm interested in seeing. I'm fairly certain CT thinks that post was well made and that my having made it means I'm probably town, but whether that is because she is scum and is expressing that to try to get into my good graces or as town who thinks the rest of my reads are good and I'm only really wrong on her is harder for me to tell. I think that that particular style of post would only come across as nongenuine if we were both scum, which... Well, we're not.

This string of posting is far more compelling. I'm not going to abandon my read just yet, partly because I haven't taken the time to explore it fully and partly because a large portion of your CT-town argument is meta that I'll have to get around to verifying at some point anyway. I'm fairly certain the two of you aren't scum together though, which is a nice confirmation of something I've suspected since your fight with RC anyway.

Sad to say, I'd probably not be here either. I don't play nicely with RC, so I find it's best I avoid games he's in. I was following along with the intention of offering to replace in when/if he was nightkilled.

FWIW, I appreciate the effort. This is probably the most fun I've had playing in a game this year, I like pretty much everyone who is playing so far, and I'd be happy to play with any of you again. I hope the feeling is largely mutual and that you guys are enjoying the game too. Even the scum. :P

I'd rather take a list of updated reads, North, but glad you confirmed your town to me. Really wonderful information. I thought you might have been scum, but thank you for clarifying.

Wonderful times. Would you give me your read on Almost? His comments so far this game have been enticing but you know him better then me at this point.

Like I suspected, flicker wagon was a bullshit wagon nobody actually wanted to commit to.

Chara: yeah I expect Tora and RC to fight as soon as they disagree on anything. They're not just any random 2 people.

Pedit : add Thor to that
Set of people who joined RR wagon: {Toog, Tora, Cheeky, TW, Nico, Elsa, RC, Thor}

Set of people who joined flicker wagon: {nsg, Chick, RR, cheeky, Chara, Elsa, me, Toog}

Intersect: {Toog, Cheeky, RC/Chara, Elsa}

Definitely scum among the intersect.
Doesn't mean everyone else on the wagons is town but there's scum here for sure.
Besides this list will be helpful again with RR/Flicker flips.

And there's still the issue of TFP and Nico not really doing anything.

Toog answer this simple question: do you think Elsa will endgame as scum?

For those paying attention Toog has had one really solid stance: that we need to lynch Elsa. EVERY SINGLE OTHER VOTE of his was on the popular wagon of the time. We talked a lot about the definitions of lurking when it comes to TFP and Nico but nobody seems to put Toog in that list. Has anyone actually read his ISO? You can do it while sipping your morning cup of coffee.. it's that short.

If you guys still refuse to see how RC/Chara slot is questionable at best, let's lynch Toog instead.

Consider my vote on both

VOTE: Chara

Also I'm going to forego my ego this time and say I probably can't read gamma very well.. or more accurately, I need a LOT of posts from gamma to be able to sort him, so it might come too late in the game.
So for the time being can I get a list of people who have experienced BOTH his town game and scum game?

In post 1670, BuJaber wrote:Like I suspected, flicker wagon was a bullshit wagon nobody actually wanted to commit to.
To clarify, this means that a) flicker is town or b) scum DEFINITELY bussed.

Like when you have a bullshit wagon on a slot that later flips scum you can pretty much guarantee that scum bussed.

But in most cases it points to the slot being town because scum would join it and then be able to make a choice whether they want to whiteknight it if town aren't sure about lynching it or they get an easy mislynch by pushing a popular wagon. Whiteknighting is less suspicious when you actually vote the wagon and THEN 'change your mind' based on reactions/claim etc.

It's like there was the possibility of insight, and then it was stamped upon brutally.
Tor continues to be trash and continues to avoid me.
Him white knighting this wagon makes me think he's statistically more likely to be right about the potential alignment flip. This is based on me thinking he's primary groupscum, natch.
Flicker’s posts show clear town thought process to me. This sort of thing is not easily fakable.

I did agree with Jingle on the point that Thor does like his vanity wagons as scum, however ime he tends to tunnel hard when doing so. Here he's provided pretty fluid reads (e.g. his progression on Tor going from liking to "trash"), along with a number of scum/town reads, which makes me feel this style is quite different from what I remember of his scum game.

I'm really vibing with his read on Toranaga. I know Chara is pretty iffy about the NDS slot too so I wouldn't be sad if someone shot it :/ ok maybe a little sad but that's what you get for being scum.
I’s be sad too, since we’re not.
