But speaking as someone whose playstyle rests VERY heavily on gauging the emotional state of other players (and I'm quite good at it, if a little rusty), I don't think that's the case here. You don't need to believe me or my read (and I could GAF less tbh) but that's how I see it. I believe FL very genuinely believes the case against Pelican.

Could I be getting played? Sure. But it's day one, and what's done in the dark gets brought to the light eventually.

I think this was after I said he was still claiming a role that isn't really his role. This is when FL started pushing this as a slip. This was well after the initial interaction with Pops where she claims she caught it. In this gap FL even expressed townreads in me. But it wasn't until Kagami made comments on it that implied he could be swayed that FL really went after it. He had to wait on A.) Pops to be the main pusher of the idea to protect himself from the flip, or at least give him reasonable doubt. And B.) There had to be support to really greenlight it or he had to figure out the angle to push, I'm not really sure which.

He showed up after he was more able to post for RL reasons. There was confirmation bias on how his lurking was interpreted and also I think his reads would have been more accurate if he had been able to keep up instead of doing catchups. I also mislynched him though a claim that was explained to me later as being verifiably conftown but I didn't understand the setup


My instinct is that my win% goes down if I post too much and create spotlight inequality, but it's possibly the case that it goes up if the fluff proportion is low. I can't be sure.

It's not shade for no apparent reason. I think FL is scum, and I wanted to know why people thought he was town. If I don't think your reasons for townreading him are good, am I supposed to just keep that to myself?

ehhh yeah i guess with his current situation it wouldnt be surprising that his ability to keep up with games as either alignment would be limited.

I'm trying to figure out why the tone was not "hey Chandra heres a concern I have with your opinion" but rather "hey everyone look at what a big stupid idiot Chandra is"

I realize I shouldnt get suspicious about being discredited when I do it to people i think are bad at mafia like it's my job but, hm.

I'd feel bad running pine up to L-1 for lurking because we did that in G&R and it didnt end well
