Homura, it's so likely that you lost because of server issues, you can't blame yourself. If the servers don't lag, I get lynched, you night kill CJV, and LYLO is a 1v1 between you and Crush and I think you win that.

Honestly you played well, if you had more time and less misfortune you would've had a good chance to win the game.

You did convince town to look outside the 1v1 D3, without your input we would've 100% lynched between you and me. Can't be right about everything all the time.

Same here.

I originally came back to this site because my best friend signed up for it (he was Phi Kappa Phi), and I thought it'd be nice to play a few games with him and see if I can spot with any familiar faces as well as passing quarantine time, but... I don't know. The games have been missing the charm I used to enjoy so much, and it feels like the site as a whole is a lot less lively. I don't think I'm cut out for mafia at the moment.

P-edit: I really appreciate your kind words, everyone. I guess I'm just going through a bit of a mood right now. Things are crazy.

@Menalque, I think I am. I just miss seeing other people. I think I've spent roughly a third to half the year so far in quarantine.

@Crush, the only reason there was a 1v1 D3 is because I cast a giant shadow for the mafia to hide under. It was hard for us to scumread scum when I was playing scum for them.

Menalque and Titus really impressed me. Looking back at their posts helped me immensely. Honestly, once I started realizing Wooper + Crush just makes 0 sense, what got me to look into Homura more was Titus' gut ping onto Phi and Cheeky's problem with it. I just admitted that Titus has played much better than me this game and decided to look into her reads instead of my own.

Spoiler: notes for myself
Crush’s move onto my wagon was weak but not scum indicative

I should have trusted my gamestate read on LL not being scum for being too obviously aligned with wooper to be aligned with wooper. Policy for hard defending scum not best strategy here.

Homura, should have thought more about equivocation on the two wagons. Was scum indicative as it was in my first scum game. Glancing at ISO — v non commit al throughout

I'm flattered by this. I still meant you remind me of me as a newbie. I hope you stick around for a long time.

The scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

You're letting Titus win the game by herself.Good luck now I guess. You have no chance to win.~Tywin

You did. Being gracefully wrong is a hard lesson to learn. You were expressive but not overbearing. Not all town will have perfect reads. It's more important to work together.

I think counterintuitively having an ongoing mafia game fits nonquarantine season better than quarantine season. Unless you have such a busy life you can't accommodate even one game at a time, the enjoyment comes mafia being a good complement to what you've been doing lately, not having even more time to dump onto it.
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"
