there’s a difference between villagery confidence and scum confidence.
Villagery confidence doesn’t write 1638. Villagers are concerned with trying to figure out people’s motivations and Villagers don’t need to show they’re right, if they’re town, that’ll show itself eventually.
Scum confidence writes 1638. Scum wants to make sure they push their agenda through and doesn’t really care about the puzzle solving aspect I mentioned prior because they already know all fo the answers. Your post isn’t about confidence or being right. Its about celebrating that you got what you want and trying to end as quickly as possible.

And Ali it was an everexxageration obviously.

My point is that without trying to appear town he claimed something arbitery prematurly to save face and not get lynched.

His claim by itself was made in a way to show importance while a the same time dismiss some of it. Which to me seems like setting up so he can excuse himself from not dying. He avoids saying anything now about his info which makes no sense from town since now that he is outed as informed scum can kill him, holding the info he has is a stupid risk. And if we assume he will learn more as the game goes, I see no point for him so recklessly claiming.

Unless of course I am right and this is a scum ploy to make us rethink lynching him so he can be "useful." The groundwork is there through his words that if you go tommorow, why didnt you die? He can say, maybe they beleived that my info is useless after all? and so on and so on.

Town that is even half competent doesnt claim such a role without evne checking if they are close to getting lynched.

There was absolutly nothing townie about his behaviour. To me his wagon strethened my scum read. Cause when pushed instead of actually doing something townie, he deflected with a claim and left.
