They could have made an excuse to investigate something else or just stayed on Linen right? Why did they move out to Wheat in the first place if they were scum? The best move would be to just stay in the largest pool no?

Did you forget? Iconeum decides the people to be investigated. When he decided the lynch and the investigations last day, everyone named was outed as Not TD. Refusing to switch would have very likely led to a Day 1 scum lynch which would have been bad for scum either way:Game-losing except for hitting TD if there was another scum in the pool of 4(lynch, invests), game-accelerating if not. Would YOU have declined to lynch someone who`d have refused to switch? I wouldn`t. Someone outed as Not TD should be investigated, or lynched. If they refuse to switch only lynch remains.

Yeah i forgot that Ico basically set up everything. So going against that would be scummy. I see now why it ended up like this.

I started writing a catchup post earlier today then walked away and lost it, fml
Short version: I think NS is the scum on the shipment, Moment made himself look pretty town

I think just letting Ico call the shipment is the safest option; either that or we build two mutually exclusive shipments, on copper and wheat, and let Ico direct the inspection votes onto one or the other. But haven't read whatever other mechanical ideas people have come up with so far

definitely
have to investigate NK15. If I could direct the investigation I'd say pair NK15 with a couple of others who are non-TD-spewed and check them all, then execute NK15 first if we hit tea (unless notscience flips green, then execute in the smaller pool)

i think the play is for everyone to decide on 2 options to investigate, and 2 (or 3?) options to execute in which I have final say?

As I said, I don't have a good reason but a bad reason could be that he just didn't understand the setup properly.

Are you aware that this is a purely emotional play?
It seems to me that if your goal is to minimize your chance of losing or maximize your chance of winning, choosing an investigation based off of today's lynch is the method to do that. That is to say, an investigation based off of the information gained from notscience's flip.

Also that whole line of argument is inherently self-defeating: if you're refusing to execute or even investigate him precisely because he fakeclaimed then you can't also say it's a bad scum play

Ico too dumb to scum is an opinion not a fact. It would be best for the health of the town for him to be investigated.
If you're right, it'll turn up wheat anyway.

I would recommed umlaut NK15 and EE as investigations tonight. This is VCA investigations so it holds no matter what notty flips (although I think its scum).
