@HB: Which is a sign that some of those players are failing rather dramatically at playing as town.
If the last scum is outside my set of candidates then they've played an awesome game.

@pisskop: If Nether really is town, then both of your scumreads are town. Which means if you're also town, you're the one who is failing this game.

I'm pretty confident in my talah read as per my reason from yesterday. Dave I can find barely any reason to townread and he has done plenty for me to be ok with lynching him.

Actually when I try to completely ignore my assumption that the scum was on my wagon and try to look among those who are outside, I consider

davesaz

to be most scum-looking. This play (to stay outside the mislynch wagon) is consistent during this game for him.
On the other hand, I still can't accept that he is the last scum. Something bugs me. I've played with him before where he was town together with me and I recognize his townplay here.

I have reads and I'm very confident in them. Why is that bad town play? Even more, what about it makes me scum? Hint -- I'm not.

When my reads are wrong and someone convinces me of that, I change willingly. See: Kaboose yesterday. I misunderstood the post from HB, got a clarification, verified the meta, and acted accordingly. How is that not town?

My Grey case was posted before, but I'll be happy to paraphrase. Grey entered the game with a fairly mysterious "Taly is obvscum" and a weak "Vettrock is bad". After being questioned on Taly he posted some explanation. I agreed with that explanation but countered that I didn't know if it indicated scum or newb, and asked what Grey thought about Vettrock. Instead of engaging in conversation on Vettrock, Grey immediately switched. At that point in time it was far from clear that Vettrock would be lynched. Scum could easily fake an early scumread on a partner to try to get town cred (in particular with me) and get stuck unable to get off that wagon later. And the mysterious obvscum read on Taly is also the type of thing that scum would try.

There is more, but I'm trying to split brain this post with a work phone call and work is winning.

I voted Kaboose because he specifically goes for lurkers as scum. If I had realized that was what HB was trying to say, I would have agreed with that within about 10 minutes of understanding the post. It was

easy to find.

Noooo. Nether is scum.

And Nether, don't worry about me surviving until MyLo/LyLo. I will vote myself and get myself killed by then because

it would be detrimental to town to have me at LyLo

. I know I am an easy mislynch and I know that if I somehow made it to LyLo, I would be lynched immediately, resulting in town loss. I would rather have some other townie (like Taly, Talah, or HoneyBee) there in my stead.

Move your votes back to nether please. He's obvscum. You can kill me tomorrow and then go on dave when I'm dead.

And I think the fact Kaboose was scum somewhat invalidates me reading you as town -because- you didn't come in to influence the lynch one way or another when it would have been easy to shift your own vote to Kaboose.

Yeah. I was gone for most of that and wasn't really paying attention. I would've thrown my vote on there had I seen it but- I hadn't.

And as someone recently said, I wouldn't be bussing Kaboose as scum at that point with one scum already down.

Are those actual questions? I mean I had read the post I'm quoting above but I didn't see anything that needed a response. So if any of this post seems forced, that's because it is.

So here we are. Nether is stalling, fine, I'll give him even more time, even though it's been almost a week since this game thread opened.

Dave having a lynch list of 4 people, which happens to be the exact number of mislynches scum need to win the game is pretty hilarious.
