Noraa it wasn't really a threat. It was more a matter of practicality. Looking through your iso, it looks like you've been really struggling to articulate townreads, particularly in your own thread. Right now I feel like I'm one of the only people standing between Shelly and oblivion, which means you're now shading the one person on this side that agrees with you on shelly town. If I was in your thread, I might rightfully be concerned by your play simply because not being able to form townreads is one problem a lot of scum have. If you are town, I think you probably should focus more on townblocking at this phase--beyond shelly, who is not even in your thread. Who is town in your own thread other than yourself noraa? Looking through page 1 of your iso and the only townread in your own thread I think I see is Peta, which is a pretty underwhelming townread tbh. Now that I've looked at your iso, I *totally* get why you seem to have been digging your own grave this entire game. You need townreads grrrl, and Peta ain't cutting it.

I'm not disagreeing with you liking Bell, I want to know what about his argument, or his relationship with shelly, is so convincing that you would sheep him across threads. I don't have full context of the dark timeline, and I don't think I ever will.

However, Titus did a pretty good job outlining some of my concerns with the LLD + Superbowl interactions early on in 1395 (aside from the fact I don't think I've ever seen town her throw around early reads like that before). I'm also pretty sure she did the SAME EXACT thing to unwnd regarding treating unwnd as a newbie player in Xenoblade 2, except unwnd has a join date that would've given that impression.

So do we think LLD literally just made the same mistake two games in a row, this time being much more egregiously wrong than the first time? Or is it possible that she was just faking it because she knows we've seen her do it before as town?

I agree skitter is scum. I don’t have a great meta baseline with LLD but liked her productivity particularly after she played second fiddle in xeno.

I don’t get why Super Bowl and skitter would tag team together to elim me so hard. There’s much easier targets.

I wonder why scumreads would get stated more on potential people wanting to be sent to this side, this side were evicting scum from.

Super tinfoily theory from me, but if our thread is trying to townblock, I think it would make sense for scum to either shut down sending a strong townread to our side or try to send one of their own instead.

I think that could be correlation not causation though. When she was pushing to come over here more people were talking about her and people over here starting asking about thoughts on her. More discussion = more scumreads. I do think that sort of tinfoily theory is kinda scummy from her tho, and I also didn't like her flipping "I'm fucking with you" to "you're trying to tic me off" because those are pretty different sentiments, particularly after my earlier post to her. She is not oozing town skitter vibes to me rn tbh. She could still be town but her recent posting did nothing to convince me of that

LLD can appear emotionally town as scum, in fact it's one of her selling points. I'm looking at her fight with superbowl acting as if he's newb scum coached actually playing his first game. I don't believe LLD could actually believe that because a) she doesn't miss details when engaged. Superbowl is obviously not new a1) the setup advertises complex mechanics and b) his join date. LLD is also pushing semantics and threatening a tunnel. LLD is much more emotionally manipulative than that when legitimately pushing. She doesn't go straight from 0-100. She applies the screws gradually and harder until you crack.

Then there's skitter. I have an independent scumread on her. She comes in and says she townreads them both and that they could never be S V S. That seems like such an LLD thing to coach.

this doesn't really match my recent experience playing with town-LLD. She came out of the gate with a scumread on me in the FGO game, pushed it a little, was absent the thread mostly for a few days, came back and pushed me again a couple times, noticed we had almost exactly the same reads (except Our Lord And Savior Assassin), and backed off.

Maybe this is what it feels like when you're scum against LLD? (I wouldn't know...the two times I was scum against her in the before-times, she kinda ignored one hydra and scrutinized the hell out of the other hydra and decided we were town).

But that's NOT how her trajectory on Noraa in Death Curse worked.

Titus was scum in Death Curse, though a replace-in. Anyway, not sure whether to call this intentional mischaracterization or not.

Now for Pooky, since HP, and maybe other people, don't understand how I got to my read there.

the setup confirms that scum have the option of being 3-3 or 4-2. On day 1 I don't think this makes a big difference, but I think this makes a *big difference* in the scenario where we get a scum flip in either game. So towns can do whatever in regard to turnstiles until there's a scum flip, but there should be a coordinated change once we hit scum in one of the games.

But *we should play* as though scum are dumb and did a 4-2 split. So if we hit scum in one thread, we should *turnstile the scummiest person* after that to the other thread, and then the other thread should stop turnstiling until it is confirmed there are still scum in the thread.

like we need to discuss how to use the turnstile and commit to this strategy early for it to work. The deadline for it doing anything is N2.

The reason why I'm mostly against mech talk is because I think mech talk is very easy for scum to be involved in. Mech talk is less tonal and takes way less effort than say, having a read on someone. You can sit here and talk about mech all day and make it sound somewhat appealing. I'm fine with it dependent on the read of the individual leading/suggesting it, but that remains a slight struggle

This isn't a dig at HP, I'm just using them for context. Yes, HP was part of the discussion of making the plan, but I'm not really townreading anyone 'because of the plan' in particular. The posts from HP here, however, give me the impression that HP hadn't really thought it out that well, or if they did, not in a way that make me think 'OMG this must definitely have come from town.' Specifically because while yes, they acknowledge we can potentially clear an entire thread, they don't really push it as an option until Day 2 AFTER we get a scumflip, and by then it would be too late, especially if there were either 4 scum in that timeline, or scum went 3-3. If we waited until Day 2, scum could just refuse to turnstile and block us from full-clearing a thread.

Pooky, on the other hand, recognized the urgency of committing to the plan and moving on once we established which thread we were moving forward with. So I gave Pooky (and only Pooky) townpoints for it.

I gave Sirius townpoints for wanting to throw unwnd into a bin.

And I think I gave HP townpoints because I may have been feeling slight townvibes for their general demeanor around the setup spec, which I went back and wanted to reexplore because I saw Peta scumreading them and for whatever reason thought Deacon was too.

If I were scum and knew that information wouldn't I want you to eject me or agree with this plan in the first place lol

Granted, it's a stale read, but I want to give Pooky the benefit of the doubt that he just can't devote his full attention to this game like we'd want him to. I'd be okay with punting him if we absolutely had to, but I'd like to believe I was right on him the first time, and there are others I would flip before him (Shelly, pisskop, maybe that smiley face avatar thing). I guess I can maybe see A50 being town here, but I'd still rather he just towned it up now.

Noraa, please stop being so negative. I think you're very sweet and I enjoy having you in my games. I apologize if you feel attacked but you're weaponizing your feelings right now and nobody knows how to deal with it. I want you to understand that this is a game and character cannot be judged entirely by game-related actions. That being said, I think right now you are feeling personally attacked and that your only chance of fighting back is by making others feel the way you do by saying they're "Bad" or "Can't read you". If you want to be respected or to be taken seriously, I need you to let go of those feelings and really rethink the way you're approaching this game. I also just want to say, if you are being underhanded by the means of acting this way exclusively beacuse of the game, I will be very saddened by it, as it has lead me to reconsider my thoughts on you purely through empathy; I townread you.

I am humbled by what you said of me but know that I don't treat myself as a person who is always right, or has god-tier reads. Each game is individual, and what I want most out of this game is to have fun and enjoy the puzzle aspect. I would say you're pretty close to already being a consensus second catapult. You're not there yet, but I think if you simply letting imperium play the game for you is enough you're going to find yourself turnstile/fllipped before day 2. You are drifting lower than A50 in more people's reads lists than mine, I'm just being more direct with you about it. And the nominal 11 day deadline is totally meaningless when it becomes a 48 hour deadline as soon as *either thread* chooses a flip. You should be playing every day like there are 48 hours left.

Right now, the main flip contender is shelly, a slot which as far as I can tell you have no position on whatsoever. So that would be the place to start I guess. Or maybe Shelly/Bell since that dynamic is pretty important to some slots (i.e. Annie)
