there are several things wrong with this.

1. Why isn't 723 scummy you can't just say it isn't and present that as fact
2. You try to discredit me based on me being "better than this" which is just an empty statement that you try and present as an argument
3. Scum are perfectly capable of acting towny most of the time. It's not like a comprehensive base of evidence that people have because most scum don't act consistently scummy. That's why you find one thing and then pressure people to confirm that one thing.
4. You haven't done anything particularly towny that would make me reconsider the fact that you're scum. Even if I were to weigh the town stuff against the scum stuff you haven't done any town things anyway.

Skybird asserted that if she were scum it would be way easier for you to find more evidence, because you're better than this. That implies that within her existing posts there is enough scumminess for you to make a better push than this, OR that you should know better because you haven't found enough scummy things to push her on.

I was really interested to see if she would clarify that she meant the latter, rather than the former(since clearly she did mean the latter, but if scum she might defend the wrong way), but you kinda called attention to it and now she can just wtf me.

yep. this is a big deal. Ranger also is blatantly misrepping me. I can bring her down if she wants. I had a discussion with her about my scumgame in the past, and she had much different words than what shes saying here.

I think that while this is true in an ideal sense, there's something like the cocktail party effect where neurotypical people just notice their own name a lot more sharply than they notice other people's names; in a noisy environment even if they're focusing on something else and tuning stuff out, if somebody says their name, their ears perk up.

Ideally a person should branch out beyond themselves as much as they can but it's natural and understandable if the parts of the thread you remember the most are the parts that are about you.

I think that Seniors OMGUSing their entire wagon is something that can come from a town mindset because scum, in my experience, are typically more self-conscious and thus would be more aware of how ridiculous that looks.

Well, looking back, you weren't doing it so much at the beginning of the game (which is when I was liking your posts). There were just a couple minor ones (#131, #149, #399) which didn't bother me at all. But seemed like starting around Dramonic, you started making reads on a lot of people based on their "metas." Dramonic (#733, #884, #1023, #1026, #1028), Sakura Hana (#1109), Swordsworth (#1112, #1328), Snarky (#1328, 1550), Ranger (#1364, #1412), and the last (little) one was Cerebrus (#1502).

That's what I'm talking about.

It's one thing to feel like you know how someone plays, but it's just lazy to write off someone's scummy behavior because they "always play like this", or to just assert that X play is their "Town" play. And it seems like your been doing that more as we've been going deeper, which is backwards from what it should be.
