the main motivation is to pretend like they're town, right? so it always makes sense in that regard. it also makes sense to be contrarian when you're the one the masons are voting. why would town!ari be purposefully contrarian anyway?

1711 town reading fire now. I had this slot as a town lean for a long time. I'm not sure about the accuracy of 1711 but I don't think this effort comes from scum.

im kinda down for the belief that a good chunk of the scumteam is on the less active side, cause most of the active posters seem more towny to me and that's unusual for me, usually I think everyone is potential scum
