You are correct but you are also massively overreacting considering I think fferyllt is just trying to get reasoning for BRO's vote. Seems like it'd be natural to direct this ire at him.
Considering the way in which her statement was worded I don't think I overreacted that much.
And I've already expressed my opinions of VCA, I'm not going to continue shouting about how silly it is.
@fffff: I'd class you there as more frustrated than irritated, but it's mostly a semantic argument that doesn't really imply what I want it to which is this:
there you were locked in a tunnel-battle with some idiot that lasted for hundreds of posts and ultimately changed nothing; here some idiot has blundered through
one question
and you're mighty annoyed about it.

I am annoyed with you because you kept stepping into the middle of my effort to figure BRO out. I mean it's like an axiom of mafia - don't answer questions that are asked of another player.
My most annoyed posts had nothing to do with tunnel-battles. They had to do with what I thought were terrible mafia game tactics.

fferyllt that question had two possible answers. One of them was "butter zone," the other "it just is."
And I can tell you with confidence he wasn't going to answer the latter.
And as for "kept stepping"
IT WAS ONE TIME

140 - my reply was a straight up "I asked the question of BRO"
145 - my reply was "that's not why I'm asking the question"
And look at bro's
147 where he says you answered it for him. THANKS???
155 And you are still digging for the reason for my liine of questioning of another player.
After that you tried to make this about my irritability being "interesting".

Not wrong, but incomplete. Point 2 was also impartial.
Multitasking. We can apply pressure to multiple people at once.

God I feel like I'm talking half mafia theory and not actually contributing anything.
Also, missed this:
Similar to kdub, PoE and gut. I'm starting to think that there is scum in one of GM/ffery/kdub because of the interactions after my kdub vote, with GM+either of them not being the case, although ffery/kdub would still be a possibility.
And yeah, that means my townread on ffery is no longer valid. Need to see a bit more.

I took that to mean that you liked that I was townreading you.
And this is early day 1. Reads can change quickly early in the game.

BRO's explanation seems like a bit of a retcon. Protip: Announcing that your vote is a pressure vote defeats the entire purpose of a pressure vote.
fferylit makes a good point in
177 and
179 regarding goodmorning.
goodmorning: What is your read on BRO? Who are your suspects at the moment?

It's been a while since I played with solo fery but I can't remember if she was usually generous or salty at giving out townread early.
Um this was supposed to be a PM to my other head >.>
This was an interesting post that I had glossed over before. Looks like a town tell if genuine. Who are the two heads of the AS hydra again and which head made this post? I'd be interested to see if meta confirms the sentiment in this post.

You took it wrong. My town game is pretty variable behaviorally, and your only experience with me as a solo player is as a replacement in a newbie game where I intentionally played as transparently as I know how to play. Your townreading me so quickly in this game has given me a progressively worsening case of hives.

The two heads are Ms Marangal and Guy in Freezer. I think it was Ms Marangal who posted that.

It was the one post, wherein I mentioned butter zones and said VCA was stupid.
Me asking you why you're asking him stuff doesn't even come close to interfering with your questioning of him because you could justifiably say "I'll answer later when I've gotten the reaction I'm looking for"

BRO looks a bit of a VI atm, not sure what to think of him.
Suspects currently: one of the neg. utility claims, still haven't figured out which yet but leaning towards TMTOL, and you.

I'm playing like a VI right now.
And yes I'm aware that announcing a vote as a pressure vote defeats the purpose. However, I don't believe that any vote made within the first few pages can be anything other than a pressure vote. What're you going to do, lynch someone on page 3?
GM why are you leaning towards letters?

You all but derailed the line of questioning. BRO could have dodged the follow-up easily in the midst of the chaff (which I contributed to), especially if I let it drop in the middle of rounding on you.
If other players couldn't see where I was headed, I'd maybe rethink and wonder if I was haring off after a will o' the wisp. But, what caught my interest was also clear to at least one other player, maybe 2.
Anything at all to say about the substance of that line of questioning?

Out of the three he's contributed the least content.
That said it's giving me a bit of a headache because his claim is objectively stronger than the other two.
Come to think of it MC hasn't done much recently, but his early game stuff was quite solid.
AS has the weakest claim but unless they're faking their content they just are acting really Town.

So you're saying I caused a distraction in the thread thanks to you overreacting and you don't think you're capable of holding up several lines of questioning at once?
If other players couldn't see where I was headed, I'd maybe rethink and wonder if I was haring off after a will o' the wisp. But, what caught my interest was also clear to at least one other player, maybe 2.
Perhaps they didn't see what I saw.

I'm trying really hard not to read every thing you post in the worst possible light, which means I'm trying not to see this as being deliberately obtuse.
I mean what do you think about the substance - his reasons for finding kdub scummy. We stripped off the vote position/hop-on/hop-off and got to what initially sparked the read. What do you think about those reasons?

What substance? He's not said much more than "I don't like where he voted" and "I kinda wanna pressure him." What initially sparked the read, he said, was "gut." I fail to understand what of that you think is substance.

And this makes you feel how about his vote and his alignment? Is it part of the basis of your VI assessment?

I'm in limbo. Limbo sucks.
I hope I'll see something clear from this ff vs gm
