Because it's page fucking 7 and people are asking for a claim. Even if he IS scum we have NOTHING to go off of yet, and the day just started.

I'm willing to wager his buddy already is bussing him, but I can't tell who it is thus far because of how fast everyone jumps down his throat.

Nothing to go off of is not great, but given there would only be one scum in the game, they'd have trouble surviving that many mislynches. That is supposing his buddy is already mislynching rather than attempting to derail because "ZOMG the train is too early".

I agree that I don't understand this wagon. You guys have been jumping down his throat about him analyzing a gambit, which he claimed was in response to Nacho's posts (which I have already suggested in post #153).

I'm not opposed to using time. I just want to apply pressure to someone who I believe is scummy and see what happens. I'm not sure what you mean by "not having enough lynches". A scum by himself would struggle to get three mislynches. They'd have to get more if the scums hit the wrong target.

Brian, everyone will analyze in the game. Half of the battle is looking at what specific words they are using rather than just the message they convey. Individual words can betray a mindset.

If he's scum, you shouldn't be concerned. Assuming no PR interference, tomorrow would be 6v1 - even if literally no words had been said, it's pretty easy to say that's a game stacked against scum.

If he's town we analyse that, and potential night goings on, like always. Big deal?

Sure, more conversation is good in general, but if we're confident enough to lynch someone now, extra discussion is likely to be large amounts of scum-induced WIFOM.

Also why not give this level of heat to Titus for asking for a claim? That's what his conversation was actually about, after all...

@NS, I ask for claim if the situation is appropriate. L-1 wihout suspicious opportunism qualifies. You both have grilled me on this. I agree a lynch shouldn't occur this fast but I would rather dispell the suspicion fast if Verbs is town so scum don't keep dragging it up. I am not 100% certain Verbs is scum but I am cerain enough to keep my vote there.

I don't like JKM's 196 though and it is shaking me, as if he doesn't want us to think about other players.
