Oh yeah I didn't believe accountant to be scum after he explained that he found not taking chances to town it up a strong towntell

Why does rereading and coming to different conclusions 'especially' make me scummy?

Couple of other things;

I don't like Accountant letting a newb-town read on her slip by. I'm also questioning the validity of her Umlaut scum read.

Carey, why must one of Tier/Pistachion be scum? Why exactly one and why those two?

I have no read on Chaos - if he continues to play this way he will be an excellent vig shot/investigative choice.

I don't like Lowell's push on Umlaut.

Pistachion and Umlaut are my only town reads. I thought Accountant could be town but the above problems prevent that read developing.

Except that you continued to push her and only moved on after the wagon started disbanding (when Lycan moved onto CMM).

Because the read makes no sense to me.

UNVOTE: BlueBloodedToffee

He's making a lot of sense, but I've had a pretty strong townread on Tier up until now. I need to think some more.

What do you need to think about Umlaut?

About why I was townreading Tier and whether I still believe in it.

Cool, look forward to seeing you voting Tier in the near future.

Actually, BBT, your position with respect to Tier/Accountant is confusing. You say Accountant acquitted himself well and Tier should have unvoted but then you say he's done other things that are suspect and you can't really justify a townread there. Also I had my vote on Accountant for about as long as Tier, but you think I'm town.

Do you think Accountant looks like a wolf, and if so why shouldn't Tier have kept his vote there (but it was fine for me to)?

Firstly, the things you're talking about are not mutually exclusive and can exist without the other one.

Correct, Accountant responded to Tier's accusations well. The things Accountant have done that prevents me from scum reading her are nothing to do with what Tier was scum reading her for. You're town because I have liked a lot of your posts.

Accountant could be scum, she could not. I haven't seen enough to decide yet. But this doesn't negate the fact that Tier's push went on way too long and made no sense after Accountant had defender herself well (which Tier appears to agree with).

Why is pist and umlaut town?

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2016 4:39 am
by BlueBloodedToffee
Why is that important?

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2016 4:41 am
by Accountant
Because I'm scumreading umlaut and mildly scumleaning pist, so if there's something that makes 'em town I want to know so I can correct my reads.

by BlueBloodedToffee
Talking about scum reads is much more important - why do you think they're scum?

Umlaut has made sone very questionable pushes(on me, so full disclosure of bias here) with some very questionable reasoning. He's guilty of everything you've accused Tier of.

pist, because I felt Tier's points about him were pretty strong and his defense skirted the issue + misrepped Tier

182 should tell you Umlaut is town.

Tier's read on Pistachion makes no sense - I don't get how Pistachion 'awkwardly' ignored your wagon. Like how was it awkward?

Can you talk some about why you were happy to let people newb-town read you?

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2016 5:09 am
by Accountant
Yes. I love townreads. I love being townread. I encourage everyone to townread me. I'm certainly not going to stop people from townreading me, unless it has nasty side effects like not taking me seriously because I am new - which doesn't seem to be the case here.

Why are you so confused about my reasoning for not contradicting others when they say I'm town?

Also this
Thats such a dumb tell though Umlaut, like why would I give a shit if another player thinks I'm a newb as long as they aren't being a dick/disregarding my points because of it

182 is a point in Umlaut's favor, I agree. Doesn't make him conftown. pist's awkwardness was due to the fact like he seemed to want to pretend the accountant wagon didnt exist at all

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2016 5:42 am
by BlueBloodedToffee
Because, as scum, you would welcome any town reads, no matter the reason. I feel as town you would be more inclined to question a read based on something you know to be false.

Maybe Pistachion wasn't interested in your wagon? How does that make Pistachion 'awkward'? I just don't understand that at all.

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2016 5:52 am
by Accountant
I feel like town would be interested in any major wagon because they are greedy for info. Pist, were you interested in my wagon?

How many people commented on Pistachion being run up to L-1 in four consecutive posts?

TierShift wrote:Oh yeah I didn't believe accountant to be scum after he explained that he found not taking chances to town it up a strong towntell
But what you actually said in response to Accountant's explanation is
In post 66, TierShift wrote:Yeah that townread is waaaay too light

Let's all vote accountant
And then you argued with him for a bit about whether that was actually a strong towntell or not, but never said anything about changing your read.

I actually assumed you were still scumreading Accountant but voting someone else for the sake of generating more activity. It's kind of important to say when you drop a scumread and I don't like your just leaving it undeclared and bringing it up now when you're getting heat for the read.

That post would have been excellent if you ended it with a vote on Tier!

I have mixed feelings on Tier still, I do feel like his behavior generated some activity earlier in the day.

Generating activity is not alignment indicative. It's just as important for scum to look like they're doing things as it is for town to move the game forward.
