Why? His approach in this game is clearly town-motivated in my eyes.
Explain.
I think that 42 is more likely to come from town imo
And him stating a TR on Chem in 67 suggests to me that he had a genuine intent to sort him (scum!Dann would have just said Chem was scum instead I think)
Yeah. No.
It's pretty presumptuous to think scum would try to lynch lynchbait early instead of keeping them alive to hide behind in end game. Have you had experience with Dann to make you believe that's whay scum!him would do?

I think regardless of how good you think the case is 155 is townie reasoning from Egix.
I'm a townboi tho
And I can't possibly imagine what you thought was scummy from my opening posts...
Wanted to see your reaction. I think you're town now!

What do you think of this progression?

That's why I have my eyes on them. Reaction tests are generally townie from my biased pov.

I think a big part of the problem with your play Dann is that it seems too surface level.

Man why does every episode of Twilight Zone reboot miss the mark so far?
I just finished Ep 7 and while there's some great actors/performances in each, the writing is so slipshod and heavyhanded that it's baffling.
The old show was pretty hit-and-miss for me, but this one is all misses so far and it's a bummer because man I like The Twilight Zone for the most part.

I'm interested why you think so

Glad you are intested, Dannflor.
It's mostly the surface-level interactions with flimsy conceits that are often very transparently grounded in beaten-to-death social issues.
Like the last episode has the meteors hit Earth that contaminate the water and so people start to become hyper violent--but it's just the men.
That's not a terrible conceit, but it doesn't carry 50 minutes of television and the more characters say shit like, "Well, not all men..." and other rote lines that would make anyone roll their eyes it's a lot less of "Oh what a neat science fiction premise that has me thinking about how people really do use anything as an excuse to justify otherwise unjustifiable acts" and more "That was a really lame literal take on toxic masculinity."
Just miffs me because it's these misses that land just off base and consistently so and it ruins the whole experience.

Like I just started ep 8 and it opens with a sheltered white woman's housekeeper being kidnapped by ICE agents.
I'll let you know how it goes but that's not really a hook that I'm excited for.

Spoiler: Honestly just more twilight zone ranting
17 minutes in and the white woman has had to check her privilege a lot and now she's in some sort of prison and her housekeeper is there and her housekeeper is being really rude about all the housekeeping work she had to do because the white woman needs to check her privilege. The current hook is that you don't know why any of this is happening to the woman within the plot of the episode, outside of beating the whole white privilege trope into the audience. It'd be at least interesting if it was nuanced and the woman wasn't cartoonishly unaware of her life being in the bubble. I swear.

Spoiler: TZ2019 blog
So then after some more badgering around the protag for her privilege, she's introduced to some women who are almost certainly literal aliens and now it's not said but it's pretty clear protag is a literal alien and doesn't know it and has been detained for being a literal illegal alien.
Like lol who DOES belong in this country amirite?

Dann do you think scum are unaware of how they post or do you think they think carefully about how they behave and what they post? What's more important is the intent. Your push on Chemist was too easily conceded. Your push on whoever was townreading pine in their firstish post felt similar, it's like you're looking for easy spots to shade in an attempt to look like you're sorting.

Do you need a hint? There are
3
players in this game who have played as
town
against my
scum
game.

No, I think scum are more likely to be hyper aware of themselves than not.

Dannflor, why do you find it scum indicative that I try to get something productive out of RVS? The Pine read is of course weak but I felt the entrance was on the town side. Do you have any scumreads other than us at this stage?
