Hmm, this is a pretty nifty magic trick, though. All I have to do is ask a question or vote somebody and they magically appear in the thread after being gone for days at a time.

~~~~~
As a further note, if Shanba doesn't post in a few days, I will be petitioning the mod to modkill him. I'm banking on there being a scum-group of 2 Mafia and no others, and if that's the case then we're better off with 5 players going into a lynch than 6 players. His posting in this game is less than pathetic.
Just an update from your friendly Back-Up Mod:
Jordan is away at the moment, but should be back today or tomorrow i think. Assuming Shanba has not pmed him with a good reason for his inactivity, Shanba will be Modkilled in accordance with the rules.
Let's see if we can't get this game moving again! ;)
Shanba has not replied to my PM, hence:
Mod was not happy, another player has fallen asleep during the day. Not to worry, it does after all provide a very convenient time to test out my new "Deadly Modkill Machine 3000"...
Shanba, and his Automatic Rifle lying next to him (funny how no-one made a note of this before), is reduced to ash
Shanba, Mafia Dayvig, Frazzled Day 2
Vote Count has been officially reset, with 5 alive, it's now 3 to lynch.
With three to lynch, we are at LYLO now.
I think there are still 2 mafia out there.
FOS: MacCrawDad & Romanus
those are my two choices.
Ah, good. And thanks to the mod for resetting the vote count. <3
I'll reread the game (for the nth time...) later today looking for Shanba connections, but I have a feeling there'll be very few since Shanba hardly posted himself.
1.)
Romanus, would you mind commenting on the EG-wagon from yesterday?
2.)
To MadCrawdad and CDB: you both said you were "back" from being away, and hence were going to read the game. What, then, are your thoughts?
3.)
Grimmy, if you are "withholding" a vote, from who were you with withholding it?
~~~~~

Mod
, as a matter of trying to determine balance, can you tell us if Shanba was a 1-Shot Mafia Dayvig, or a multiple shot Dayvig?

In case you didn't notice, Shanba was Mafia. Why do you think there are still 2 mafia left?

If the game had a single mafia group of 3 players, then today would have been {3 Mafia v 3 other}, which is generally considered a "mafia win".

Why FOS on Romanus

I did not put very much into how MM was playing before you, as he was outed as an @$$hole, so I dont hold that against you. But you have not provided much in the way of defending yourself overly much when PJ questions you. Answering a question with another question just draws out the conversation, and avoids answers.

Why FOS on MacCrawDad

His lack of voting seems to be actviely lurking.

Also,

FOS to a lesser extent: CBD

I need to hear more from you defending yourself rather than just posing questions.
and I find the case of "joking too much" to be reaching.

Point taken.

I initially figured 3 mafia due to the town power role(s?) in the game. (Korts being a tracker)
I didnt add in the dayvig power for shanba to counter this, so I concede that there is one more mafia.

I still think it is one of the three I FOS'ed. the latter is the weakest case, though, as not much could be read into the game with more occuring from MODkills than actual gameplay and lynching.

Grimmy, I understand somebody has to, but I really don't like the way you are trying to lead the town around by the nose, controlling the conversation and telling people how they should answer your questions.

Can I comment on the EG wagon? Sure. This game is slow, we have no info and all is just guessing really.

Anything else I can do for you?

I did not get an answer which gave me the information I wanted, so I asked in a different way.

And this game keeps stalling, so SOMEONE has to take the intiative and make a move. PJ has tried to get this game going a number of times, and one word answers (romanus) and jokes (me) have done very little to provide information.

I will read this again and see what next step we should take to get things moving. (claiming, etc.)

Sorry I'm late - been ill for a few days.

Grimmy, you FoS me for spending too much time asking questions and not enough defending myself. May I ask, could you give me an example of an accusation I haven't defended myself from, because I feel I've responded to all questions.

PJ - all I got from going over the thread was what I suggested about Grimmy's joke-mode behaviour. Thought that was clear, but I guess I see why it mightn't have been. There really is so little to go on in previous pages.

I find it highly unlikely that there are more than 2 mafia in a game this size, so I'm pretty sure we're just looking for one.

I don't, however, have a problem with Grimmy for trying to "lead the town" - I definitely agree that this game needed someone to take the initiative, so this is more public service than scummy.

Well, I'll need to request replacement in a few days -- this shouldn't come as a surprise since it's been in my signature for over a month.

Before that time, I will try to do an analysis on the living players, and give a preference of lynching order. I do not expect my replacement to eat, live, and breathe like PJ would, though, so I hope my replacement does not feel somehow bound to stick by my opinions.

At the very least, I would like opinions on the following:

1.)
Whether or not people feel it would be beneficial to mass-claim today; and
2.)
Why Shanba was not posting in this game.

~~~~~
What is this talk about Grimmy leading the town? I don't feel that at all, and I feel if anybody has been pushing the town around it has been me. I'm just not understanding that whole conversation.
