That sounds like scum couldn't be eliminated day one though. Kinda unfun
Presumably the death trap part would happen after the choose a person to eliminate part, and wouldn't overwrite it

That's not me agreeing with the post, I'm not sure scum would be able to sabotage in a way that is "get an extra kill" for balance reasons

i dont think scum have a nightkill since there's no night

i think sabotages r what they get in lieu of a nightkill

hi cakez

i agree with dunn's approach. i think any other approach involves some form of mod WIFOM that's probably not great to get into

I know no one wants to rehash this but wanting to be elected because of an acquittal doesnt really make sense. If you are acquitted of a crime nothing happens to you that isnt a reward

I might think someone else was caught for the wrong reasons here but idk prism seems to get tilted off the planet over nothing every time I see him (sorry)

Agree with dunn about how to approach this overall

Also think it's probably the case that scum dont have a normal nightkill

by definition scum doesn't have a normal nightkill, since there are no nights. it's very unlikely that every other event is just "scum gets to kill someone"

In post 128, ulyana wrote:what do you think of taly and pooky volunteering?
I did not think anything of Pooky's and found Taly's townleaning.

Taly's allusions to potentially sharing motivation with me (where my motivation was to either get the power to make a unilateral mechanical decision or to get voted out of the game entirely) was wildly off base but I do not think it was done with the intent to sway me.

Is this a mountainous game, or do we think we might gain some advantages from these events?

I'm a VT (Yes, I know we're all VTs. I wouldn't want some people jumping on me for not claiming that as per my "meta" /grin).

The events, sabotages of events, and the corresponding outcomes of the events are the only mechanical deciders of the game. Who we select will definitely matter, and the decisionmaking power within each event could be zero, could be only the players inside/outside of the events, or the game at large.

ie. Yes, we will gain advantage or cede advantages to the scumteam according to our decisionmaking in events.
