Yes, because humansFurry wrote:There is no reason to lie about your read post game hun.nevertry to make themselves seem more accomplished than they actually are. Ever read people's CVs? You'd be amazed how many amazingly athletic, musically gifted, multilingual, incredibly sociable, hardworking, can-work-well-in-a-team-but-also-able-to-handle-solo-responsibility, generally incredible people want to work at the same job.
On a different note, round of applause for Charlie - he played a blinder and called so many scum correctly he should get a freaking medal or something. I still can't believe we got a lynch on him. Your scumhunting instincts were dead on mate, and I actually feel a little bad that I got away with trashing them the way I did.I'm a townie! Honest!

Game over! The survivors have been overwhelmed.
But I had fun, and it was a good learning experience even though town lost. Really, playing in a large theme game made me think up of so many complicated possibilities I decided that "WTH, if everyone thinks of complicated stuff then the whole game would be a difficult puzzle. So why no default to all the simplest solution; in hopes that things would balance things out".
Scumhunting I can do, case-making I feel somewhat inexperienced. As town my opinions of suspects tend to fluctuate as people say stuff. From time to time I voice out who my suspects were and I bet if there was more talk, I could have strayed. But I know that in a lylo situation, gut is the way to go. Side-note: bob, you were really not playing as I remember you did in Newbie 888; that was ultra suspicious in my eyes.
Looking at the fakeclaims... yep, nameclaim would not be have been useful to town after all. Learned something valuable.
Wow, crazy pair of night actions N5. It so could have been a day 6 but c'est la vis.
Thanks for the game all.Kindness- Glork

This sums up my thoughts pretty well. I'm honestly too disgusted by the town's play to make a post, except to point out one thing.xRECKONERx wrote:Alright, where do I even begin?
First thing's first... I was lolling so hard when I saw scum kill Dizzy... then saw Starbuck protect Dizzy... then saw bv310 redirect Starbuck. Oh man. I was sitting my room and every ten minutes something else would develop and I'd start cracking up. That was fucking hilarious.
You can find the Graveyard topic here. Many players' thoughts are there, but here's a few things:
1) This was just the laziest town I've ever seen. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the effort put forth. The no lynches were just absolutely ridiculous and probably played a huge part in the loss.
2) Socrates dropping so many power role tells on Day One really hurt the town, because scum immediately picked up on it. He investigated Ifrinn/crypto Night One and that would've crippled the Crescendo Infected on D2. Unfortunately the questions he asked and his behavior gave him away quite quickly.
3) I can't believe Amished didn't get lynched. Seriously, how many times did he have a wagon on him and it got derailed? Unbelievable.
4) The items that WEREN'T destroyed by scum were wasted by town. PS my favorite quote from the Graveyard QT:
5) ReaperCharlie should've claimed he got the item instead of claiming he didn't. That was an unwinnable situation.Furry wrote:I think from this point on whenever anyone asks for examples of what is good play, im just going to jesture frustratedly at this game and say "just do the opposite of everything you see past page 30 in this game"
6) If there was a day with no item drops, an ammo pack and a battery pack were supposed to drop and if the Flashlight/Defib wielder grabbed the batteries or the Shotgun wielder grabbed the ammo pack, they'd get a recharge.
More thoughts to come later.
WhenTWO PEOPLE(Glork and Steam-Powered Shovel) push two DIFFERENT lynches which both fail at end-of-day, and then, the VERY FOLLOWING NIGHTS, EACH OF THOSE PEOPLE GET NIGHTKILLED, something's going on. No townsperson bothered to do an OUNCE of nightkill analysis except SPS, and it led him directly to AmishedScum.
Fun fact: Since I've come back to MafiaScum, no town has won a single game. Seems players are just worse overall than they were a year ago. Back to basics, please.- jmj3000

Yup. I haven't been in a game with a town win for some time now, and very few of those games have involved more-than-competent scum teams.Glork wrote:Fun fact: Since I've come back to MafiaScum, no town has won a single game. crypto, your avatar changes like twice a week or more. haha
I usually subconsciously associate people with their avatars, and every time you switch it, it throws my read on you off by a bit, because I don't get the same vibe as before.
Curse you and your active-switching, lol.Show"Take me to Pleasure Town!" "Look, the most Glorious Rainbow Ever!" "Do me on it!" -

Note to self: Never cross-replace again. I never really got my head in this game. I know I was giving a subpar performance because of that, even if I did have real-life interference. I apologize to both the players and the mods (especially Reck) for my abysmal performance.
I suspected AB of being scum, and Crypto was actually creeping up there as well, but Amished managed to make himself go from slightly scummy to townish. Charlie was the unfortunate victim of being too honest with his thoughts. It's gotten me lynched before, too. Don't really have much thoughts on anyone else at the moment.
Again, sorry for not giving a good show...ALMOST ALWAYS BUSY 9-6 CST WEEKDAYS- Starbuck

OMG no fucking wai, Amished!!!!! I'm never sticking my neck out for you again. I still have nothing but love for you though.
BV, I have no fucking words for you. Seriously, you fucked this game with your lurking and you basically had no idea wtf was going on. Thanks for making the town lose. Do me a favor and never join any game I am in again.
SK, I am pissed off. This last day was horrid due to the fact that we were waiting on you to catch up. I had a pretty good town read on you, which is why I wanted your opinions and words. I only voted you to give you some pressure that was it.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

I'm wondering that as well. But given SB's recent play, it wouldn't surprise me to be legit.
See, she used to be a nice, lovely player. Then some amount of playing with me rubbed off on her and now she's quick to anger and bitchy. Just like me. SO SUCK ON THAT KISE.
It is all your fault, you know.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Amished

I LOVE YOU TOO STARBUCK! I actually had a pretty elaborate fake-claim set up for the last day, where I was the lead singer of the band and I was a bodyguard cause I can't live without my fellow bandmates. I even switched my safe-claim PM image to the one that Izzy had to justify my town read of her when she pushed thatguy over PM discrepancy...
I promise next time I'm in a game with you I'll only join if I can be on your team, deal?I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Well, don't worry, I'm not making the same mistake twice. This is the last time I cross-replace into a game, so hopefully this won't happen again.Starbuck wrote:SK, I am pissed off. All I"m getting out of this post is a bunch of deflection. Care to shoulder some of the responsibility for the loss yourself, considering that for the first SIXTY PAGES OF THE GAME, you never voted for a single scumbag, and actively prevented TWO Amished lynches?Starbuck wrote:BV, I have no fucking words for you. That's right. I'm bustin' chops. Too many people blame others when they lose. Say "I fucked up" and learn from your mistakes. Nobody's going to be able to grow as a mafia player if they don't learn to do that.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
