I've picked out my N2 Investigatee.

Anyone want to have a pizza party in my room?
Please? :(

Faraday's stoicism was of little use in the face of so much barely-controlled violence, and another Day ends in gunfire and bloodshed. Upon examining his room, you find nothing leading you any closer to the
bastardi
lurking in your midst...

It is now Night Two; all Night Actions are due to me no later than midnight Central US Time on Thursday, October 7th.

Even with your door shut, you can hear the sounds of two cats in heat, going at it hot and heavy...wait, those aren't cats, those are dames! Two women, somewhere in the house, together... and you stuck here by yourself. Pity.

Dawn's rosy red fingers climb up your spine like some sort of bored feline, shaking you awake and making you wonder what the hell you've gotten yourself into. A quick change of clothes and brush of your hair is all you have time for before someone shouts from down the hall. Peering into
Me=Weird
's room, you discover a blood-soaked bed and a corpse that will tell no tales. However, the money and cell phone on his nightstand make it evident that he was no longer neutral in the turf war consuming the Family business...

RECRUITED GOON

It is now Day Three; with fifteen alive, eight drawn guns will be needed to execute someone.

Okay...

I got counter-roleblocked.

But I was going to block M=W anyway.

So it seems that there's only one scum faction?

Also, I wasn't roleblocked last night. :D Yayz!
Though I only found a townie...

Because I'd assume that the scumbag would've flipped "Brother #1's Mafia" or "Recruited into XXX's Mafia"

Also, I realized that I've been using my ability rather lame-ly.

I shouldn't investigate lurkers, because scum won't recruit lurkers, yes?

So I'll be targeting actives or semi-actives from now on.

But why roleblock a roleblocker (i.e me) that had declared that they were going to RB either M=W or xvart?

Possible to allow a kill through from declared target?

So we can probably assume that the scum have successfully recruited one or more roleblockers already.

Unless they recruited YOU.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it unusual for a roleblocker to find out that they've been blocked? How do you know?

Also, and this is going to sound really tinfoil-hatted, but is it possible that the whole Seraphim-replacing-out thing happened because he got recruited by vezok N0?

OH. MY. GOD.
I know this is tinfoil, but you might seriously be on to something, Erg0. 8D

Chrono is too lazy to help town in this game?

And I'm going to apologize to the person I investigated. Getting KO'd with a blackjack doesn't sound fun at all. :(

Not surprised Chrono got blocked. He wasn't really town, so town rb-er would want to block him, yet scum roleblocker would want to block a potential bad power role, especially if your targetting his team mate.

This makes sense. It also gives credence to what vezok said D1. Lemme find it.

Actually, this isn't at all how I remembered it.

The flip would imply vezok was lying, right? It seems way too uncontrollable on town's part if both brothers were recruiting for the same mafia.

ALSO, let's say only one brother can recruit at a time; in case one is lynched D1/Killed N1.

If they were seperate, then one of them dying would mean their team is f***ed.
Which also decreases the likelyhood of a mason-recruiter, but whatevs.

Yea, I don't make much noise, so I can see how you thought they were by themselves... sorry, next time I'll tell them to keep it down... ;)

Oh, but it never says the sons are pitted against each other.

This will take more pondering.

Sorta like I (as town) blocked a claimed cop in Mad World Time Travel Mafia, and he turned out to be the scum who performed the kill. Because LMP was obvscum and nobody else wanted to lynch him, I figured I would block him. It worked like a charm. No nightkill.

But yeah, I'm not sure how roleblocking a roleblocker works, I don't know if I've ever seen that before. Maybe the Night Action Resolution just goes through in the order it's submitted in, in that case. It doesn't even say which would happen first, here: http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?tit ... leblocking so I have no bleepin' clue.

Either way, if they thought you were scum I could totally see it.

But yeah, if they are scum and thought you were opposing scum, I could see that as well.

Anyways.

Uh... pretty sure that if the recruit-or-kill theory is right, (or even otherwise, for that matter) that it would make NO sense for there to be two recruiters in the same cult. That would be way too powerful. Especially if they could both recruit on the same night. Unless we hit one or both of the recruiters fairly early on, we would be virtually swallowed by the the one all-powerful cult in like 3 days flat.
