Except I wasn't asking you about your scum game when you said this (and note the word 'explicitly'):In post 1849, LicketyQuickety wrote:I don't prioritize my Scum game over my Town game, I just don't want to spill everything I say about my Scum game.
I was asking you about your reads in that game. You didn't mind looking scummy by refusing to answer a direct question (for those of you who weren't there, the very reasonable question was "You just subbed in and lolhammered me after calling me town - does that mean you now think I'm scum?").In post 1493, Quick wrote:I didn't answer explicitly for future games. If I always say who I think is Scum or Town, then that can really hurt my Scum game if I can't lie.
Why?
"Explicitly for future games." "That can really hurt my scum game."
Yet now you're pretending you're on some moral crusade against that very behavior and that's why you're scumreading me.“There is nothing so dangerous for anyone who has something to hide as conversation! A human being [...] cannot resist the opportunity to reveal himself and express his personality which conversation gives him. Every time he will give himself away.” -Hercule Poirot- Blair

Welcome back, Looker. Popopo is lying scum, I'm the Vigilante, and Quick is pushing a counterwagon due to my... *checks scribbles on hand* personality?“There is nothing so dangerous for anyone who has something to hide as conversation! A human being [...] cannot resist the opportunity to reveal himself and express his personality which conversation gives him. Every time he will give himself away.” -Hercule Poirot- popopopopopopo

It is apparent to me that you were not pointing it out in good faith. I thought, naturally, that your point was that I prioritize my Scum game over my Town game. But I did actually answer the question you asked me later. I believe mav had a similar question which I answered. I don't want to give away all the ways I can get reads on people. That DOESN'T mean I am prioritizing my Scum game over my Town game. It just means my reads are more effective for more games if I don't give every last detail of how I read people. Seriously, you should understand this. But your point isn't that I am Scum for doing such, but that I am a liar. Sorry to burst your bubble, Blair, but just because I don't give every last detail of how I read people doesn't actually mean I am being dishonest. Omission doesn't actually mean you have lied. What's more is that I could have come up with some BS answer to say what I was doing there, but instead I straight up said why I didn't want to answer. In post 1851, Blair wrote:Why?I was anything worse than you! Anything worse than you was I!

"Every last detail"
I literally just asked you if you were scumreading me. I didn't even get a chance to ask why, because you never answered the first question. Explicitly to protect your future scum games.“There is nothing so dangerous for anyone who has something to hide as conversation! A human being [...] cannot resist the opportunity to reveal himself and express his personality which conversation gives him. Every time he will give himself away.” -Hercule Poirot- LicketyQuickety

It doesn't matter because what I said then isn't valid anymore. In post 1855, Blair wrote:"Every last detail"

But the fact remains you were willing to try it.
So let's not pretend you have a long standing crusade against it.“There is nothing so dangerous for anyone who has something to hide as conversation! And on that note, I'm going to spare the thread from what would otherwise have been a long (albeit comical) back and forth and take a step back, I've made my point. Quick is being disingenuous in his reads.

It was only because I wanted to try to play without lying at all. It wasn't based on the idea of being dishonest to up my Scum game. That's a difference and I am not sure if you can really understand that or not.In post 1858, Blair wrote:But the fact remains you were willing to try it.

I still think popo claiming VT is the Scummiest thing in the game given Norway's claim. In post 1685, LicketyQuickety wrote:
Why did you claim VT then?In post 1684, popopopopopopo wrote:

VOTE: popo
Blair may or may not be vig, but I really don't care about that and it generally shows pretty Town mindset that Blair did claim Vig.I was anything worse than you! Anything worse than you was I!

Bernard Williams (1929-2003) argued that someone immortal would eventually run out of reasons to live, and then death would cease to be a misfortune.

Susan Haack (1945-) propounds "foundherentism", an innovative theory of justification that combines foundationalism and coherentism.
Mod notes:- I didn't get the memo about the recent rule change. I will make the necessary adaptations.

- Why wasn't Blair killed last night?
- I don't listen to meta arguments unless they're all-encompassing. 1 game isn't an adequate sample size.

Looker, you ask why I'm wondering about this, right? I can't differentiate your current play from the game you were mafia in.In post 1861, Dunnstral wrote:
