i dont think im so big I can block an entire 12 player game from proceeding because I'm muttering the corner about hectic trying to murder us.

i think there is a lethargy that could be a hangover from marathon week - i am more exhausted than usual and i didnt even play all that much

For my part, the same post that included a Hectic vote would have included an unvote otherwise (if I was voting anywhere, I don't remember).

I'm having trouble deciding what to do with the game, voting anything that's bothered me besides skitter has felt wrong by comparison, but pushing skitter herself when my reaction to all her posting is increasingly unrefined rage feels really bad since that's how I felt in the Menalque normal, and how I felt in the marathon she referenced. It's probably better to eliminate one of the players that hasn't cleared themselves by now, but none of them seem actively scummy to me the way TGP falsely did so I don't want to be in charge of which.

pedit: Pooky's engagement in this anti-town meme is mildly scummy for him but it's definitely not disjoint from his townrange, he did a pretty similar stunt in Chara's Folly.

to clarify, it's slightly scummy for basically anyone participating, Pooky's meta dampens the extent to which it is scummy compared to the average player

hm, i will crosscheck who this might be applicable to.

This is so dumb.
what do you think of this? outside of it being a mirrored version of it also seems to contrast hopkirk's previous participation in the let's vote the mods plan.

was there some insane revelation that was come to while i was gone... are you all just voting Hectic because why not? I am assuming the later

yeah. it is like, hm, pooky seems to be aware of the effect it is having, but also why are other people content with it,

In post 1844, team rocket queen wrote:the solution almost certainly wouldn't be 'unanimous votes' or 'vote a different mod' - hectic was hammered and my no elimination vote will be reflected in the vote count if that is possible.
In post 1820, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:i mean we should do the full unanimous vote on hectic first to test that.

then start voting out the co-mods.

let's get it wrapped up so we can go back to playing the game if we're wrong.
In post 1823, Flea The Magician wrote:Hectics been hammered, if this doesn't work we need to speedwagon the comods!
like this is ??? at best.
hahahaha a unanimous vote on Hectic
In post 1845, Flea The Magician wrote:It is also known as "a joke." and "Having fun".
Was this all a joke or serious? I see answers that make me think both -- i think reading into reactions could potentially be helpful yeah, but i dont see why you'd need a unanimous vote. so I assume it's a joke at this point

Spoiler:
In post 1811, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:if this was a game with evil hectic-mod against 13 VTs.

i would expect we need every vote on hectic to actually slay the monster

the vote count is a lie because Hectic will do anything to save himself.
In post 1812, Hopkirk wrote:i mean he does have 2 co-mods...
In post 1813, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:we should elim-test them next if a unanimous wagon on hectic fails

perhaps this is one of those games where you have to elim the guardians before the main boss becomes vulnerable.

anything could happen
In post 1814, Ydrasse wrote:honestly i’m down
Ok yeah it was a joke. I guess reactions could potentially be useful. so far i think basically most of the game was just down to try it
In post 1790, Hectic wrote:

Pooky points his finger at the Stonemason, Hectic.

This is all your fault. You could've stopped us but you let it happen.

Gloria Cleary nods in support.

That's true; who's worse, the person committing the crime, or the ones that just stand by and watch?

Ydrasse, Flea The Magician, and Gypyx also join in on the assault. There is not much Hectic can do against the mob.
Oh dear

this is 100% why this lasted so long, isn't it? Freakin Hectic writing flavour for ppl voting the mod

i believe this is something that would generally be mentioned in the rules if so, which it is not, but i will do so to see. however, i don't think anyone else should because this one would definitely be reflected in the vote count if possible.

I was just referring to mine.

"Me not here for long time me here for good time EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

It's also good to see peoples reactions to this kinda stuff. And who am I really to deny someone the chaos they wish to cause?

PEDIT: Jessie tried it, we're waiting on a VC to see if it works.

Yeah, I don’t see why anyone views this as scummy. I thought it was hilarious.

I however was partially serious about my b & g speculation though.

VOTE: no launch
In Death Curse no scroll pick meant the mafia could decide, so probably not a great idea unless Hectic confirms “no launch” even exists.

there is plurality in this game to resolve deadline issues like the no scroll pick. it's still not a good idea for other people to do this as it is only good if we are actually play an all vt game which i doubt, as i said previously. just waiting on votecount to reflect that.

@mod what happens in the case of a “no launch” hammer?

Posted: Wed Dec 02, 2020 8:07 am
by Morning Tweet
oh disregard that then

I saw Ydrasses' post on it potentially being all VT and that led me to wonder. But that would be mega bastard actually so that probably doesn't make sense. Unless if alignments get determined after the first two days and we're actually in a limbo state right now where we haven't **really** received our alignments and it's just an illusion

i don't feel very strongly about this stretch of pages. I think Flea is still strong town

though speaking of death curse the pms were the same as this game other than 'the mafia has daytalk' has been changed to 'all pts have daytalk' so i am pretty sure that is just because closed v open and is not something we should lean heavily on when considering the setup

Yeah true but I just want it confirmed whether a no launch is even an option in this game, just in case. That’s the basic difference between the lolHectic wagon and a no launch wagon. The first one is guaranteed to be harmless, not sure about the second.
