should I have a different action contingent on the alignment flip? Do we think DV scum equity goes up or down with cakez’s red flip?

i was going to suggest voting outside and letting claims resolve themselves but i really doubt there'd be 2 town investigative roles with that strength and i've been burned by letting scummy pr claims so at this point i'd rather close my eyes and yeet it. don't really find the way cakez was pushing back on abr towny at all.

so iv is claiming disloyal hider, and abr has an MD shot tonight... as long as town agrees to *not* visit iv tonight for any reason, i thinkkk abr targeting him instead of deas will be slightly +ev (since in theory there could be a false guilty if iv got blocked and abr didn't detect motion on deas)

i mean i'm still convinced this *will* backfire because i don't trust iv to be town *and* i don't trust scum to not fuck with the results (and i have a feeling they have a decent amount of power this game so lel)

but that ^^ is a problem for whatever unlucky souls are alive tomorrow

another problem is, if DV is town, a scum role could visit me with some random ability to set off ABR's motion detector, and that would be a false guilty on DV

- if deas town, they can fake a guilty by visiting deas

if iv on deas, abr on iv

- if deas scum, iv cannot be blocked in the same fashion as there^^ since the rb visit would still give motion
- if deas town, they can fake a guilty by visiting iv

yeah i think i was right, abr targeting iv instead of deas is like, slight +ev in the very specific scenario of (1) iv is town (2) deas is scum (3) scum has a roleblocker (4) abr is town (5) abr lives to day 3

*however* typing this all out, i'm thinking if it's better for arb to target deas instead because in the event iv is scum (and a visiting role) he could make whatever result he wants, while scum!deas with the MD on himself cannot falsely clear himself

it gets even more complicated if we enertain the idea that *both* are scum and honestly????? i don't even fucking know i'm done fuck this setup specc who thought this was a good idea
