Why on Earth would you start a counter-wagon on a player that you intended to kill yourself? And hey, would you look at that -- there was only one kill last night, and it was from the Heyman Mafia (CM Punk's flavor).
How do you know that was a Heyman Mafia kill?
In the very same post he says it's CM Punk's flavour for the kill & reading back it makes sense for him to assume that.
just to expand on this Cm Punk's flavour he talks about, CM Punk is an associate of Paul Heyman in WWE (along with Brock Lesnar) and has a finisher called "go to sleep" - therefore the flavour of the kill suggests it was by Punk, because the rock was "put to sleep."
Oh duh, how did I miss that.
I missed it too. This was something I was going to ask about when I got a chance to post again, but that totally makes sense. Derp.
In post 1772, Desperado wrote:
Why did you have Goat over mutley?
A lot of it had to do with Mutley only being around for part of the day when he replaced, and I still wasn't 100% sure on what to think of him yet. His actions are sporadic and all over the place and I can't get a solid read on him. For one, he keeps advocating his own lynch towards the end of the day, but then is against it. Maybe he was just trying to see who would take the easy bandwagon on him? Either way, I can't make heads or tails of his actions anymore, even after reading through his stuff again. It also seemed like a lot of people didn't actually think he was scummy, but they just wanted a lynch target.

At the time, I had a stronger scum read on The Goat (though Fuzzyman's was even stronger to me). He jumped all over the "day vig" by GCBC extremely quickly. Later he claimed he didn't buy it, and it was kind of a joke. I thought the same at first, but as the day went I began to think otherwise. There really wasn't a need to throw the vote down, and I feel like he was actually trying to get something started. After GCBC was day-killed and flipped Heyman, it quickly fizzled out but I still had my eye on him. When I saw the vote train begin on him for the end of day lynch, I figured it was a better place to vote. I thought more people would have switched from Mutley when they saw another choice and the lynch would go through but obviously that wasn't the case in the end :/

After ISO-ing Goat, I've noticed that Nero was all for the Goat lynch and was calling for his head almost the entire day. Now he's upset at people that agreed with what he thought and accusing them of being scum. To quip what you said to me when I said I'd be willing to change my vote off of Fuzzy to help ensure a no lynch wouldn't happen:

Why did you vote for Mutley if you wanted a Goat lynch? People had started going for it hard at the end of the day, and if you had of pushed for it too it could have happened. And then why do you berate me for pushing for what I thought was the better of the two lynches when it appeared at the time it had a chance of going through?

Except that this is multiball so scum can still hunt + all those players, save Darthe were already in my day 1 scum reads.

My vote on Mut was an obvious attempt to stop a horrible no lynch situation. Asking you why you were pushing a lynch that obviously had no support is in no way berating you. Overdramatic much?

Except this lynch didn't have "no support". It had 7 votes on the thing. I thought more people would have gone after Goat when they say the train building steam so quickly, yourself included, and I agree that the no lynch situation is something that was horrible. Which is why when I came online the next morning and saw no one HAD jumped over after, I tried to hop over to the other wagon to prevent it, but failed miserably.

"Berate" wasn't the word I wanted in that sentence. "Question" would have been more appropriate. I didn't re-read the post so parts of it are a little wonky in hindsight

What do you think of what Despo has claimed today?

Ferretlover, do you seriously have nothing to say about Darthe's ginormous post about you?

Petapan, what was it about the way Mutley claimed VT that gave you Town vibes? Be specific, please.

Malcolm, am I correct in assuming that both 1846 and 1851 were from Nacho?

I'm going to say that I understand the case against me, but it is the way that I think IRL too. My mind seems to go all over the place sometimes, and I seem to forget things.

Hrm. I'm sure you can see why I'm wary of you, Malcolm. My "lynch all liars" mindset is starting to kick in. Lying about killing Goat just to get a reaction out of him seems like a foolhardy thing to do, and I can't help but be suspicious of it -- especially after what transpired at the end of day one.

Please answer this too. I know it looks like a throwaway question, but it's kind of important.

well. TBH, I got behind with this game and either ways my vote would have not got him lynched. He was 2 or 3 votes away.

With people indicating an interest in lynching The Goat, those who moved to that wagon are less suspect to me. Jebus said he wouldn't mind a Goat wagon, and his lack of follow-through is even worse than ArcAngel9's avoiding the issue. Then Fuzzyman voting over a fairly obvious jest and unvoting without any follow-up is equally lousy.

Given that xMalcolmx apparently didn't follow through on their intent to kill The Goat, it doesn't seem as shady that they'd try to get The Goat lynched yesterday.

VOTE: Jebus
Well, its no wonder that i haven't been contributing much to this game so far. but penguin, jebus always like this..did you see his vote on Ferret, its point less, do you think a scum just vote like that without case? don't you think its usually the lazy townies who end behaving like this...

there are other players who is just behind chasing the lukers.. (pointing to monkey) what is your thoughts on him?

but scum still can. Which is why I'm all for policy/utility lynches 'cause they actually help the town more than hurt it.

Holy shit Darthe, that was actually a really good find. I liked Ferret for town for some reason, I don't remember what it was.

Nero, I asked you something when I responded to your question to me. Answer it please

Nacho, I'm not sure if I can buy your reason for thinking Mutley is town. You know that the Survival tell, or lack of it, is one of my favorite in determining alignment but I'm thinking that the way he tried to pull it off was a means to try and get people off his back. I'm not sold on the genuineness of that entire spiel.

TBH, this looks alot like Esquire's town game, I don't think I could, or would ever follow you on him but Fuzzy...

talk about him more please?

In post 1449, xMALCOLMx wrote:First of all, I've played with Fegelein before in Newbie 1344 and the level of analysis here versus the level of analysis there is terrifying. His chainsaw defense of you was ridiculously over the top and fake as shit, and his replace out of "man this hydra sucks my partner ditched me" seems more like scum being left out to dry by his hydra partner as opposed to someone really being THAT frustrated that he had to play alone. Also, there's a small subtle hydra-scum tell in that he was angry that his partner didn't post (and act town) as opposed to "my partner was never there", but that's a new one.

He's trying to push everything that happened in the past under the rug and is pushing easy lynch but probably town ferretlover for "his reaction after the daykill". That's opportunistic as all hell while showing him being self-conscious about how scummy Krabs was.

Krab is ridiculously scummy but Mutley is Town as shit...even though they're occupying the same slot. How does that work? Why such a drastic change in opinion? I don't see what Mutley has done to atone for Krab's scummy behavior.
