I specifically didn’t give out spoilers to that Notes account in ABoontice, but Ras/Awestfie being same person still didn’t do anything.

Notes kept pretending to “solve the game” outside, and asked if they could get Night actions, and I just didn’t give them to him.

Do we know how Ras got caught?

Eh, JK/doctor wouldn’t necessarily hurt us.

Especially because once they both were claimed one of them was probably going down that day phase.

And I just make the kill, so if ever jailed, “I’m obviously the night kill target” which we would know in theory if we were jailed because of my lack of Result from Role cop, and it made sense that town me would die soon.

First, I'd like to note that this setup, as I've pretty rapidly figured out throughout the game, is simply not good.

The setup was originally given mod-confirmed alignments of a spirit's medium to help a particular issue about the mechanic being too unwieldly to use properly, which would defeat the point of the setup in the first place because it revolves around the spirit mechanic. In the end, it became a way to swing the game in a way that could either give out confirmed town like candy or do effectively nothing for the game. I feel like the scumteam were on track to using the tools they had to combat this effectively, but I can fully understand why this would not be a fun type of mechanic to play scum against. Otherwise, town really doesn't have a whole lot to work with without them, since the amount of power they have is directly tied to that mechanic and the information on the mediums that was built into the setup.

Otherwise, most of the issues with this setup is in playability. I think this setup idea needs a lot more work to be fun to actually play through, and I think I missed the mark significantly on this pass. I might revisit this idea in the future, but I don't think it's likely for a good while at least.

(Miscellaneous note, Twin Spirit was a HORRIBLE role for a setup with mod confirmed mediums and I am really glad that role had zero impact on the game)

You got 'altered' from the Loud Spirit, Loud One-Night Bulletproof Spirit, Twin Spirits, Jailkeeper Spirit, and the Loud Spirit Disabler.

It effectively was town's way of figuring out which slots were going to be beneficial for them to lynch even though they're town.

That's essentially what I was going for originally with this setup, relying on day play in order to win the game with the primary advantage town has being that it takes longer to silence town voices than usual.

The setup failed primarily because of the IC factor. I'm not entirely sure how to keep the mechanic within the spirit of the setup design without turning it into this.

This is sad. I really enjoyed the game. I knew Chen was scum, but I wouldn't have gotten the others except maybe fl. Also, I guess this vacates one of my recent town wins. Thanks Ank for modding. Well played by the scum team.

I enjoyed the setup. I am a bit bitter about Titus & Nero for the mastina lynch, and I don't bloody know why Titus got lynched. If only people could concentrate on the game and forget about previous bad experiences with each other...

Anyway, thanks Ank for modding. Well played FL (as always). I got 2 scums on D1 but my everlasting weakness is to get the town to follow my reads. I need to learn how to push a lynch on a suspect.
