My biggest concern at this point in the game is that there are a number of people who are looking entirely the wrong way and need to see some flips to get a better perspective. I would gladly pair with you at this point, but fear that it would potentially lead to a loss of agency in this game, which is my greatest concern at this point in time. I don't think it's too hard to see who's playing for survival but apparently not true for everyone. Feels like certain people are angling directly for having partners who will be advantageous to them.

I think there are interesting connections to be drawn from S_S based on the way several people have treated the slot.

I replaced out of a lot of my scum wins in the past few years and I kinda feel like this type of setup would be one I approach by just looking to force a bunch of really shitty pairings that town can't reasonably find two TvT confident pairings in

But I don't actually know for sure, especially since I haven't ever played the 4 scum variant before

1. I'm not really worried about Datisi leaving me - I'm town and I'm confident I can exert the level of effort and energy in this game required to help Datisi see that. Honestly if this game goes terribly off the rails I'd be more worried about me getting Wrongly Paranoid about Datisi than I would Datisi leaving at a time that would lose the game

2. I'd say Andante, RH9, Mala would be my picks for slots that scum might push for an easier miselim

Those seem...fairly consistent in their view? He's more wary of being fooled by you than by GL. Makes some sense given familiarity although I'm not sure why he'd be confident catching GL-scum given recent history.

I mean, it could easily be scum posturing to try to get the dance partner they want but I don't think it's impossible for town to write those posts.
