I don't believe it is both, but I can't rule it out. If they are both scum, it is possible that ortolan is simply sacrificing himself to "clear" zach.

I'm still happy enough with my vig target suggestions, because if it turns out that this scenario is in fact the truth, then we still end up killing scum, we just don't learn very much about zachattack.

I lied about having used an investigation on zach

his reaction seems consistent with that of a townie (still might be scum I suppose but there's still absolutely no reason to suspect him, he'd definitely be bottom of my list for death just above Mora now).

please claim as many of your bodyguard targets as you remember

to claim an ability like that then provide absolutely no evidence (which could potentially be countered) it works is scummy.

btw if nothing else zwet should simply be able to ask MM what his role choices were for nights 1-3. Please kill him unless his claim suddenly becomes magically less scummy.

Well I wrote that (and tried to post twice while site was down) but didn't realise zwet is dead already. It still would have been better to kill me imo seeing as at present I'm a liability to town if we get to Send-Or-Lose etc.

As everyone was debating who to send to prison, a sudden loud gunshot was heard. It was undeniably one of the daykill powers...


zwetschenwasser, Protown Variable Bodyguard, daykilled Day 4.

You are a Protown Variable Bodyguard. Your special abilities are conditional upon the number of pairs of players sent to prison:

If 3 pairs were sent to prison that day: That night, you may PM me a target to protect. Both the target and yourself are protected. You will also kill whoever attempts to kill the target or yourself.

If 2 pairs were sent to prison that day: That night, you may PM a target to protect. Only the target is protected. If the target is targetted by a killer, you will sacrifice yourself and kill that killer. If the target is targetted by multiple killers, both the target and yourself die and none of the killers is killed in return.

If 1 pair was sent to prison that day: That night, you may PM me a target to protect. Only the target is protected. If the target is targetted by a killer, you will sacrifice yourself. If the target is targetted by multiple killers, both the target and yourself die.

Prisoner’s Dilemma Mafia II Setup:


25 total players

1 SK: Vel-Rahn Koon/Dr Pepper
You are a
Serial Killer
. You have the following special abilities:

1 Kill attempt per night: During each night, you may PM me a kill choice.
One-Shot Bulletproof Vest: Protection from the first kill attempt on you. You will be notified if this occurs.
One-Shot Heroism: The first time you are sent to prison, people will recognize you to be a town hero, so both you and your prison partner will be released without undergoing the interrogation process. That night you will still be staying in prison, so you are essentially protected and roleblocked for that night.

You also know that there is no Protown Vigilante in this game.
You win when you are the last one standing.
6 Mafia:
zachattack, The Central Scrutinizer/jakep, Albert B. Rampage, Stephoscope, Percy, solorpg:
You all are in the
Mafia group
.
zachattack is the Godfather
with cop investigation immunity.
The rest of you are Goons
. Your group has the following special abilities:

Traitor Recruitment: There is a
Mafia Traitor
in the game and you do not know who it is. The Traitor knows who are in your Mafia group and your group's abilities. The Traitor's win condition is the same as your group's. During any night, one group member can PM me to recruit the Traitor back into the Mafia group. This would turn the Traitor into a Goon. Before being recruited, the Traitor will appear innocent to sane cop investigations. The night of recruiting and after recruiting, the Traitor will appear guilty to sane cop investigations, just like the Goons.

Nightkills: Each night any member may PM a kill target. The member carrying out the kill must also be specified.

Communication: Each member has the ability to communicate to the group during the Pregame Phase and nights. Reading and posting on the group Quicktopic thread is recommended due to convenience and the ability for me to post updates for your Mafia group. Mafia members in prison cannot communicate/post with other members but can still read the Quicktopic thread. I trust that you know the Honor System.[/url]

Bulletproof Vest: Each night any group member may PM me to specify which group member wears the BV to be immune to all kill attempts. If nothing is submitted, I will assume the Godfather wears the BV.

Poison Gas Kit: One-shot. Any member may PM me to specify sending one member during the current night to prison to stealthily install poison gas bombs. The next night the gas will leak and have a 60% chance of killing each player in prison that night. So if Players A, B, C, D are in prison, I will roll 4 10-sided dice to determine who is killed by the poison gas. The prison investigations would not take place during that night. The kit also includes prison security guard uniforms, so the sent member can safely get in and out of prison without repercussions.

Prisoner Capture Kit: One-shot. Any member may PM me to activate this during any night. This brainwashes the police chief and will have him prematurely capture 1, 2, or 3 players of your group's choice for the next day. If used, next day the town will decide who to pair up with the 1, 2, or 3 players. For example, if X and Y are captured prematurely Day 2, town first decides who to send to prison along with X, then who to send to prison along with Y.

Interrogation Confusion Kit: One-shot. Any member may PM me to activate this during any night. If activated, all prison interrogations that night will yield answers opposite to what are actually said. So a no-no pair yields yes-yes, yes-no yields no-yes, etc.

You also know many Safe Claims (Only safe in that these roles are either not in the game or very common. Whether they are safe in terms of being believable is up to your judgment):
Protown Prison Cop: Can only go to a prisoner’s house to investigate alignment
Protown Masons: Confirmed or unconfirmed alignments
Protown Miller: Knows miller status
Protown Vanilla Townie
Protown Post-Restricted Townie: any post restriction

You win with your Mafia group when group members constitute at least 50% of all players alive and it is impossible to not maintain the 50% threshold.


1 Mafia Traitor: detspeed/Abstract Actuary
You are the
Mafia Traitor
. The Mafia group knows the Traitor is in this game, but does not know that it is you. You know everything about your Mafia group, specified in the Mafia group PM below. During any night, you may be recruited back into the Mafia group. This would turn you into a Goon and you would have all the Mafia group abilities. Before being recruited, you will appear innocent to sane cop investigations. The night of recruiting and after recruiting, you will appear guilty to sane cop investigations, just like the other Goons.

You win with your Mafia group when group members constitute at least 50% of all players alive and it is impossible to not maintain the 50% threshold.

You are a
Protown Radar Chip Implanter
. Each day you must PM me to implant a radar chip into a target’s body. Each night thereafter the chip will track where the target is going. You win with the town when all Antitown forces are eliminated.

. Each night you will receive radar tracking signals from players that have radar chips implants in their bodies. You do not know who is implanting the radar chips. You also will not know who is being tracked until you actually receive the signals.

You win with the town when all Antitown forces are eliminated.
1 Protown Rogue FBI Agent: DrippingGoofball
You are a
Protown Rogue FBI Agent
. Once during game, anytime during any day, you may send 3 players’ names via PM to me and capture them to put them into a scenario similar to the “Yes-Yes” section of the Prisoner’s Dilemma box. Each captured player will be asked, “From 0-100%, what should the poisonous injection chance of death be for each of the other two players?” Then the three captured players will receive poisonous injections with the chances of death being the averages of the 6 given percentages. The three captured players will not know about the average-of-6-given-percentages, but they may be able to figure it out. I will perform the percentages privately on random.org. I will tell you afterward what percentages each player said. The day will temporarily stop and the identities of the captured players will be publicly announced when you use this ability.

You win with the town when all Antitown forces are eliminated.
1 Protown Prison Security Guard: Moratorium
You are a
Protown Prison Security Guard
. You stay in prison during all nights. Each night you may PM me to capture a target to both protect and roleblock that target in prison.

hmm the setup was swingy

we were very screwed by poor/unlucky town power-role play

freeko was terrible, Moratorium claimed when his ability would have been much much better left unclaimed, zwet should never have claimed his ability, CounselWolf got killed and inexplicably planted the radar tracker on himself (???)

I was always entertaining the possibility zach was scum but there were so many townies acting scummy (hi Sly) he was never gonna cop too much flak.
