I agree, if he's serious then it's most likely true because why would you make that up. I'm just worried that he's telling the truth about his role but not his alignment.
Certainly more possible than the harebrained theories we're seeing. I still don't see that possibility as any more reason to elim jim than anyone else.
As of now I think of all the claims it's most likely to be lying about alignment. The role is an odd one to fakeclaim so it's probably true but I don't believe that it was not given an alignment or the alignment is not known.

Did he claim to not know his alignment? I don't remember that.
