Because they were running me up in votes due to being "unclaimed". Due to questionable night actions i claimed solely that i didn't prevent a kill without hardclaiming.

I didn't mention it before because I thought it was just paranoia, but throughout this game creature has made me uneasy. Half of his posts seem pretty townie and then the other half feel kind of opportunistic and scummy. And a lot of the time it feels like he's white knighting me and just sheeping stuff that I say.
