Dude, you have to be AFKing ALOT to be getting banned for inactivity. I probably have like 50 or so on my account(probably like 1 every ~100 games or so) and I've never been punished.

I dont know what my current record of leaving games/afking is.

I like LoL, it is fun. It is way more in depth and involved then DOTA games that I used to play on SC/WC. The problem is that I want to play without people thinking it is some sort of sacred religion. All this, "your team is counting on you" would be fine and dandy if it was actually a game that meant something. When I que into just some bullshit normal just to have some fun, I dont want everyone to act as if the game is a matter of life/death.

I am overreacting obviously but so is the ban system. /rant

Leaver Level 2 is a 24 hour ban. So if you're banned for 3 days you have hit level 3 or 4. That is A LOT of leaves dude. The more I research it the more I think you got banned for raging or something, Didn't they send you an e-mail? What does it say in the email. Is there a tribunal card link in there?

Edit: It also has nothing to do with people taking the game too seriously or the game not meaning anything. By leaving you are making at least 4 people not have fun( i'm not a big fan of winning 5v4 unless it's ranked to be honest). But okay sure, you've had your fill, you're ready to do something else, whatever. There are 9 other people that are still playing the game. It isn't like CoD where it's like you leave and somebody else get put in. Your spot is empty forever and that's a huge disadvantage for the team you left. It's perfectly reasonably for you to be banned for that.

Edit2: Remember that I'm a chronic leaver, and if I'm disagreeing with your stance on leaving, you should know you're in the wrong.

You'll actually find that the majority of the community feels Riot is not harsh enough on bans, particularly for AFKs. The other nine people queuing up aren't treating it as "just some bullshit normal just to have some fun", and don't appreciate it when you take it upon yourself to ruin the game for all of them (whether by raging, trolling, or going AFK).

Even if it is just some bullshit thing to have fun, a lot of people get just one match that day to have fun, and almost nobody finds 4v5s fun.

Ok where do I go for the less serious crowd :(

I am not a serious gamer or rager for panzers info.

Another game mode, I guess maybe? You find a new game or game mode that you can find the time for, because SR is not it.

My understanding is that 3v3 games are shorter and more hectic than Summoner's Rift, and Dominion even shorter and hectic than that. Maybe try those game modes, for less of a commitment?

If you own an xbox, I've heard good things about happy wars. Haven't played, know nothing about the community, but I know it's a similar game and might be worth looking into.

TT is a really fun and underrated mode that's great if you have only two other friends online or if you don't have as much time.

This is true. Teemo's also great there because of vision from shrooms.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I've had plenty of Treeline games that go about 30-40 minutes, even upwards of an hour.

When you queue up for a game, it is a commitment to the four other people on your team that you will stay with them throughout. Do not make that commitment unless you know that you can follow through with it.

I agree, but sometimes shit happens. My internet is iffy if anyone else wants to use it, even FB causes me massive lag spikes

Remember that every time you go AFK in a game, you are not just halting your own fun but the fun of the 4 other people who queued up and had the misfortune of getting matched up with you (and anyone on the other team who cares more about an interesting game than just killing shit). A 4v5 is (except in rare circumstances) not a winnable game position for the 4. Every time you queue and you're not certain you can make it through the game, you are essentially taking the 4 other people on their team and deciding that you're willing to
actively harm
their game experience for your own personal time.

tl;dr games are srsbusiness don't queue if you can't get through

lmao that game.
@JD Panzer ragequit 5 minutes into the game and Me lil G and DH carried that game until Andy came back. Panzer cried that it was gg after Andy never connected but it wasn't so we rub it in his face whenever the situation becomes ironic or hypocritical.

ALSO
I have a bad habit of forgetting to buy boots on Corki
I think it's because I don't rely on the AS like I do with other carries but jesus.
Last time I went something stupid like 18/4 before I noticed that I hadn't even bought boots1 yet (30 minutes into the game)

Other than mobility which is important on an AD carry, why does one need boots on a caster-carry like Ezreal or Corki?

So PBE rolled back to the Lissandra content, but they're introducing a bunch of stuff including Champion banners and Poro snax? (Poros are those little creatures on Howling Abyss)

Stay tuned for my incoming commentary about how OP Lissandra is going to be on release. [/snark]

man I wish I could get better at adc
Im not sure how people call it the easiest role, its way harder than support :/ Positioning in team-fights is fucking everything and can lose you the game the hardest by being bad at it. (*At least in my experience*)

Play caitlyn.

No seriously.
Since all you do for damage is right click you have more time to spend on just positioning and traps can give you a lot of space to work with.

How is it hypocritical? I said I am a chronic leaver. I understand why it's wrong, and bannable, ect. but if I want to leave I will. I'm just saying he shouldn't QQ about being leaver banned.

Playstyle and the order you learn things in determines what roles are the easiest to learn.

If your playstyle is on just beating the ever-living shit out of someone, then top lane is going to be the easiest since that's the general style of the lane. More tactical people are probably best on Jungle and Support. People who like being really mobile throughout the map will be best in Jungle and Mid. People who like being the squishy damage dealers who like relying on not getting hit at all for survival will gravitate towards Mid and ADC.

Of course, it's going to become really hard learning how to ADC if you are a hyper aggressive player who only plays top lane compared to someone who starts learning the role first, since you rely more on heavy aggression and bullying the opponent which will only get you killed over and over again in the ADC role.
