It's annoying to not get to use a fun gimmick because I was kind of enjoying it so sorry that I wanted a second on the motion before dropping it, skitter. If you actually know me, you'd know it'd be very unlikely I would use a posting gimmick as a function of alignment. And you'd know that to the extent it involves my alignment, I'd have a strong bias against adopting a gimmick for scum games, because I've repeatedly identified my scum playstyle as among the archetypes highly focused on emulating a towngame with minimal interest in objectives, Ali's opposite, and a posting gimmick doesn't help with that. I'm also top poster in the bulk of my scum wins, "be opaque" isn't remotely close to my scum philosophy. I don't know why you're applying some other player's 2010esque scum philosophy to me if you know me.

But sure with more than one complaint I'll play more typically (I'm mulling over whether it's unsporting to require certain alignments from the complainers, it probably is, scum should get to , like, play the game and all).

I'll secret alt again sometimes and use more understandable gimmicks. Lash went fine. It was fun to have a gimmick as town but that might have made it more likely that I distort to an extent that becomes unintelligible since as scum I preview edit and like, is "curate" the word?, I refine my posts a good deal more.

I didn't really pay close enough attention to Menalque's progression. So that theory is a dud. The main point is the standard town explanation of what you're doing making little sense. If seems like it pushes some scum objective, it seems good to make my best guess at it.

I thought about how Krazy criticized my don't for being difficult to read and pushed me for being therefore scum, and then Krazy's hydra flipped scum. But I didn't blindly apply that meta to you without thinking about motivations! And I shall not! Wow! It's powerful. I recommend it please. We don't need help misreading eachother.

i don't inherently object to gimmicks, i object to them when i can't really understand what they're trying to say

and i also wasn't inherently calling you scum for using a gimmick either, so i'm not sure why that's what you're like 'defending against here. if you're who i think you are the fact that you're using an alt or gimmick is utterly nai in of itself, and i never claimed otherwise

i'm saying that you're being hard to understand and the fact that you didn't try to make yourself easier to understand is scummy

and i wasn't saying that you should stop using the gimmick altogether either.

I wasn't being hard to understand intentionally, I just was messing up the weird subgame of breaking unnecessary had rules (bit not critical grammar rules) more for a couple pages; I got in a rut. I was doing better with it earlier on I think.

The part where it's suspicious to push someone for being a "bad voter" that won't actually flip rather than pushing someone who is more adamant and more of a wedge vote on a wagon being an insincere defense is true. I do have the philosophy that when the scum characterization of an action is absent, the lack of town characterization is a weaker scumtell, though. So it's a substantively lesser thing unless I think of any other way to make sense of it I guess

i have a very, very, very hard time understanding your mena progression or how you wrote 1800(fixed hopefully!) in context of the fact that you just placed him at e1 and in context of the fact that the reads you're critiquing didn't happen the way that you're claiming they did (which you're now claiming you weren't following his progression which i find, well, dubious)

Yes, because you said that you had a couple good townread but no good scumreads this game. So that's the best EV play. I've done it plenty of times.

I wouldn't call it top 3, because there's some pretty stiff competition there, and musically it's not especially diverse. But it has a lot of banging tracks and the unpolishedness definitely gives it a unique sound.
