Amrun being a Vanilla Townie should have been a big read alarm notice to her. And to the Town. There is a Bodyguard Director... but the person who they direct is marked as a Vanilla Townie, not a Bodyguard? How does that work?
Amrun dying over Reck with Town Reck made sense, though--because Amrun didn't die over Reck per se, Amrun died while protecting Venmar, who was the one "dying" over Reck.

That said, good claim, Reck. Nice hammer post.

No, it didn't make sense because why would scum ATTEMPT to kill Venmar if Reck was town? It's not what scum would do.

And that's precisely why I didn't worry about it -- nights sort that out. But I guess I should have been more explicit because I was the only one it occurred to?


But honestly idk why I wasn't more suspicious of Reck's claim at the time. I lamented over it to Andy. X.X

Why not? There was a Frey alive and Venmar could catch them. Worst case, they eliminate the Bodyguard--and many players will actually attempt to kill the Cop when they know there is a working Bodyguard, as there is no real way around it. In both cases, it would have taken two Nights to off Venmar, and with a Frey around, the scum needed to eliminate Venmar regardless of Reck's alignment.

Admittedly, killing Venmar off n the final Night over Reck WAS telling (since Venmar was no longer a threat), but not the initial choice of killing Venmar over him.
