The fact that I got Bob and Xiao lynched was pretty cool, though.

the xiao lynch was unjust as fuck but the bob lynch was a given bc he made the unfortunate mistake of making the most damning associative tell to xay

i actually told both NS and geurts to never trust skull and they did and im rlly annoyed at them for that but then i also said bob was conf scum so lol
bob being town was just unlucky really bc his comment was probably never intended to be read that way but that scumread was also probably the most logical conclusion to make based on the info only laid out in thread

Why did I have to get lynched for the game to end?

As I wrote the scum winconditions, scum can only win if there are no town remaining or if there's nothing to keep that from happening.
Going into Day 5, town could still lynch scum AND there was the possibility of a town dayvig if the day, somehow, lasted long enough for Fuzzy to get that many posts.
In a situation where Cheetory or Skull was lynched and then the Nightkill was either blocked by you or was on you, BRO, then Day 6 would start with 2 scum, 2 town and town could still have the majority vote.

Essentially, it came down to extremely unlikely possibilities.

The short answer, BRO, is that Fuzzy still existed and there was no assurance that scum would NK the slot.

I was considering letting the game continue to play out, although the only situation in which scum didn't win at this point was if Fuzzy got a vig shot off, which he would've needed 300+ posts of substantial responses for.
I did not see that happening in a situation where scum was playing towards their wincon, so I endgame'd.

no but actually cheety my issue with myself regarding u is that i didnt reconsider anything but honestly i had no reason to before i died because the xay flip had only just happened and it was still super fresh in everyone's mind
i am just extremely annoyed that the xiao guilty on you went completely over everyone's head and that was injustice, it should have never been ignored as much as it was

Seriously the biggest fucking mystery. I thought my cartoon of Xiao was as close to a scumclaim as I could get.

A lot of the idea in the setup was to pair mechanical efficiency with hindering restrictions and imaginative play-styles.
I really like the idea of a secret neighborhood that, once claimed in thread, becomes closed off.

Some noteable things: Xiao never had a post restriction where he had to only post song lyrics or comics. He just chose to do that so that he could 'be on another level'. It kept him alive for awhile at least?
Wgeurts and Caled also did not have the restrictions they claimed to have. Wgeurts was required to post images in response to things but could use as much text as he liked so long as an image was there. Caled had no restrictions.
It was interesting to see so many faked restrictions, though.

I was super reluctant to join this game because I'm not a huge fan of bastard stuff.
I tell Varsoon jokingly "I'd better get vanilla town you piece of shit" and lo and behold I get my prize! Spend the first day being super paranoid that my role is somehow fucked.
Then all of a sudden I get recruited in wgeurts' bullshit. Everyone thinks I'm cult for trying to get more people in the hood.
N1 hits and WOO I BECOME SCUM. FUCK THAT SHIT.
Then we get stuck into bussing Xay and then we realize at the end of the day "shit people are gonna know there's a traitor now fuckkkk".
So I'm all panicky about that bullshit.
Then Xiao comes out of the gate on D3 being like "Cheet is fucking scum" and I'm just like "holy shit everything bad is happening to me why".

And then all kinds of bullshit happens and Varsoon toys with my heart during endgame. Skull and I are paranoid as fuck about whether there's actually a traitor.
And then woo. Sweet freedom and release.

P-Edit: I mean Om, if Xiao hadn't used comics I feel like people would have followed his argument better.
