where?
where?
Wouldn't Nero be able to tell what scum PRs scum have? There are probably more.In post 1903, DrDolittle wrote:with the voyeur + traitor flips this is likely to be a game of little PR powers.
idk, I could still see it being town and it'll suck harder if we mislynch town!him today than let scum!him survive another day.In post 1945, OkaPoka wrote:the problem is bef is probably scum here cuz his claim is just bad and scummy so we are letting a free lynch slip through our fingers when we don't have to.
Looking through his ISO all I really see is his push on me and kmd. He was certain that vork would flip town, maybe a little too confident in that. Other than that I didn't really see any real scum hunting or new reasons why kmd or myself are scum. It seems he put more effort into confirming vork as town than anything else.In post 1978, Creature wrote:What do you all think about Suka?
Ouch.
Dude. This is the extent of your scum hunting:Ouch.
Guess you'll have to pull more of your weight and actually catch scum.
How's that one going for you?
I actually looked at Varsoon's ISO again because his recent posts have been bothering me so much, and I think I made a mistake when I first read him. I gave him town points for posing resistance to the Yyotta lynch. By my counts he was pushing DDL through D1, probably hoping to get (what I'm viewing as now) an easy mislynch and save Yyotta as a policy lynch for the next day. All his actual resistance to the Yyotta wagon comes after she was already lynched:In post 1942, Varsoon wrote:Not really much, I guess.
I just get worse vibes from Oka and DDL.
The way they are present and how they interact with the game
It bothers me
I can't really articulate it
In post 967, Varsoon wrote:It gives us nothing, imo.
In post 970, Varsoon wrote:That's what all flips do, though.
What I mean is that I wish the interactions with the wagon were more palpable.
In post 972, Varsoon wrote:I don't think it'll flip scum, though.
Getting a mislynch with low info is the worst outcome.
It's like... "Let me just make sure this lynch goes through... Oh yea it's a total mistake btw." This is all just token resistance that comesIn post 974, Varsoon wrote:I don't have a read on Yyota.
I don't think I've had a single interaction on the slot.
I'd lean it more likely town than not given how other players have treated it, though.
You're saying we could potentially not lynch him if he fakes a good enough result? In post 1973, Creature wrote:If it's the former, we decide whether to lynch him or not.
Why? I need more on this for me to come close to seeing what you're seeing.idk,I could still see it being townand it'll suck harder if we mislynch town!him today than let scum!him survive another day.
I think she's town by the way she plays. It's good to note she defended Vorkuta as a newbie from the very beginning as well.In post 1978, Creature wrote:What do you all think about Suka?
No, we just read him as normal (whether he's actually town claiming truthfully or scum lying). In post 1981, Dannflor wrote:You're saying we could potentially not lynch him if he fakes a good enough result?
For some reason I can still imagine someone being that bad as town.In post 1981, Dannflor wrote:Why? I need more on this for me to come close to seeing what you're seeing.
Who was pushing YYotta the most?In post 1982, mbaki wrote:I don't think resisting YYotta lynch in itself is town indicative. If anything, that's the kind of player scum would love to defend, since they're inevitably getting lynched eventually, and not a threat.
I mean, yea. If this game so far is anything to go by, that's a possibility. I'd feel so much better if he'd actually used his ability on DDL since that's the obvious thing to do.For some reason I can still imagine someone being that bad as town.
DDL obviouslyIn post 1989, Dannflor wrote:do we direct his night action? If so, to where?
What point were you trying to get across with this post?Creature wrote:We reconsidered DDL D1 after he claimed VT.
That's actually a good point too. It sounds like "Scum would never claim VT, oh by the way I'm a claimed VT so I can't be scum either". If I have time, I want to go back at some point and look at drdoolittle's scum games to see what he claimed.Dann wrote:Scum do not necessarily claim PR. That just sounds like a way of retroactively clearing yourself, DDL.
This was said on Day 2. Town can only know if someone else's reads were bad on three players (yyotta, rb, and themselves). Mbaki claimed to be townreading yyotta (or at least NOT scumreading) despite voting there a couple times (I actually thought mbaki could be a yyotta scum partner before yyotta's flip). RB, most people were wrong on. So the only thing that would stand out as "bad reads" from town-Suka's point of view would be the mbaki scumreading suka. So it feels weird that suka is calling out the accuracy of mbaki's reads now. It's also worth noting that suka's reads on yyotta and rb were similar to mbaki's (town on yyotta, but voted there anyway. town on rb.)Suka wrote: Your reads are pretty bad, mbaki. Is that normal?
Really? Again?mbaki wrote:I would love to hear how Leodanny was obvtown, lol.
What did you mean when you said you doubt I believe you to be scum?Bright wrote:Maybe it's the tone but I never implied that you are scum

Town on top, scum on bottom:Dann wrote:also @KMD, what are your reads right now aside from BEF?
Oka didn't you and I have the conversation last game about my work schedule not changing based on alignment in mafia games? When I hit big stretches of time off (like this coming month), I can be active. When I'm working my 16 hour days, I have zero internet access. As for the "vanity wagon" thing, I vote who I want to lynch until it's time to compromise. Had Vorkuta not been lynched while I was away, I would have switched to Bright.Oka wrote:i can't tell if he's spectating the game or playing the game.
his decision to stick on suka vanity wagon is sketch bc vanity wagon-ing is sketch. people who vanity wagon when the lynch choices are clear are people who don't want to dirty their hands (which solidifies my question of whether he's actually playing the game or not) (and also people who don't want to dirty their hands = probably scum)
im probably going to go reread DDU kmd iso later to verify some things, b/c i felt like he was similar in that game where he seemed spectator-y up until lylo.
but he's still been scummy so
yeah
