I don't exactly see Pai Mei causing explosions, though, is the thing.

maybe each mafia member has their own individual method and they chose someone different to kill, but i do agree that an explosion is strange. What would have causes such a small explosion, one of those over the shoulder rocket lunchers would blow someone to the moon not just a hole in them. A shot gun at point-blank range might be able to do something like that but there was no mention of bullets. Know anyone who used or might use a shot gun?
If we determin the weapon then we might be able to guess at the killer more acuaratly.

Not so absent

Mod's notice that I'm not present refers to a PM I sent him, which was meant to say I would be gone until last wednesday, the 23rd. Silly me left out the dates, with 10 days since last time the thread was open I understand this could be misunderstood.

neon & halo: Pai Mei is the man behind the "five point exploding heart technique" (or something along those lines), which is executed once in the movie (by the Bride, but she learned it from Pai Mei). You add pressure to five points around the victim's heart, after which he/she can only take five steps before their heart explodes. I'm quite sure this is what happened last night with Leonidas.

I feel we're approaching the point where a mass role claim could connect the dots, but I understand those aren't very popular.

LoudmouthLee: any info on your role that raj was keeping from us you'd like to share?

Astronaut: Yeah, but witness the end of part 2, where the bride uses it on Bill. Maybe it was just because I was unpacking at the time that I was watching, and hence wasn't paying -too- close attention, but I would not really call the visual as being on of an explosion.

Well, your right. What is shown in the movie doesn't really fit with the "large gaping hole" in Leonidas.

Still, my FoS goes to Pai Mei.

Well... after a re-read, I must admit, the game is broken.

As already known, I'm Bill... major power role. Mr. Weirdnamefreak was honest about his role... I can only be nightkilled if my cronies fall first.

having seen both movies multiple times, I must
vote: InHim

The 5 point exploding heart technique sounds awfully scummish... especially with the explosion kill.

Well, you're now being voted for because you're voting for someone who you said had a "good point - possibly the best of the day." :P

Other than that, no reason. I'm actually up for a mass claim, from what my role tells me about the game arrangement, I figure we win pretty easily if we consider that whoever claims Elle is innocent and whoever claims Vivica (forgot actual name xD) is innocent.

One thing I almost forgot: for some reason when Brian was claiming cop he said that Electra was innocent. Any reasons for that.

Are you talking only about yourself or does that include others as well when it comes to reasons for voting inHim?

I am really confused with all these votes on InHim; there's not been a single real reason cited.

but you had no reason to vote for him in the first place, and i still want a good reason or an unvote from the rest of the people voting him.

I'm voting for inHim for a combination of 4 reasons, actually.

Firstly, he's so in favor of random bandwagoning, so it does my evil little heart good to see him get a taste of his own medicine for once.

Secondly, I stated that I was suspicious of him, yesterday, and I still am.

Thirdly, he cast his vote on Electra, whom he said had the best arguments yesterday.

Fourthly, he didn't explain his vote either.

And I'm all for a mass role-claim, I suppose.

Well, since we have clear indications that this could be solved by a mass role-claim, I dont see why we should continue walking around the porridge (=beating about the bush).

I'm
this
close to revealing my role right now, but since this is only my third game I'm afraid I might mess up. There are still a few who haven't expressed their opinion on this matter yet, so I'll wait.

I'll be more than happy to go first if most agree on a mass role-claim.

I don't really care, with regards to the roleclaim thing. If we do it, that's fine, and I'll claim, but if we don't, it's no skin off my nose.

I'm fine with a roleclaim and might as well start seeing this game shouldn't last much longer.

I'm Elle and like Fuldu deducted, I function as a doc.

Indeed...

So, Fuldu hit the spot with his analyze of the situation - you are Pai-Mei without a night-kill ability who needs to get Elle killed. Also it seems that Hanzo and Pai-Mei aren't connected as Fuldu named neongrey in his post, which means we have at least one killer lose somewhere, probably even 2-player mafia. That's the sole reason I'm not voting you yet as I think the rest of the claims will make it easy to pin-point the remaining killer(s).

i am happy with the mass claim doesn't really effect me as i am already out. Fuldu seemed pretty sure the neongrey was scummy so i think i will
Vote Neongrey

Lets wait for more claims before we lynch anyone though.

What can I say? It's my word against his. Fuldu did peg the Elle role down, though, which makes my own case fairly difficult to make.

Regarding Fuldu feeling that I seemed scummy, though, Halo, if you'll read his post, he was posting from the position that his own information caused him to believe that if the role of Elle was in play, the game was essentially unwinnable by the non-town side. Obviously, the nightkill yesterday proved otherwise, but I had been covering Halo, of course. He himself said I'd all but claimed both Elle and doctor, which I have been implying both of throughout the game.

-- the justification for Elle being doctor, by the by, is the scene where Elle calls up Bill and informs him of the Bride's condition, if that means anything to anyone. I'd quote the scene for you, but it's in my PM. :P

But whatever. My vote won't be changing, and I've said my piece. I'll go quietly if you settle on me, as I'm dead as of night, anyway; claimed doctors do not have a long life-expectancy. I hope you just let the scum kill me tonight, rather than doing it for them now, as maybe that'll give us the time we need to pull off a win.

Either way, though.

Er, why don't we just leave both of them alive and let halofreak check tonight?

Do we think there's another scum out there? If so, I want a claim from inHim.

(I would claim, but I can prove my innocence, and if inHim claims my role, then we've got him ;) )
