I'm 2 from a lynch now. I'm not going to repeat all I have said already and I don't think there is much new I can add. I have already said I am the "Veteran Townie".

The best point in my defence was made by Seol, not me, and so I'll just repeat what he said:
Seol (underlining added) wrote:Furthermore, if you were scum, that would mean (assuming a 2-man mafia, which is normal for a game of this size) that neither Mafia was on the bandwagon, which seems odd, albeit possible. It's also a risky strategy, as toward the end of the day
MoS was pointing at you and you were pointing at MoS as alternatives - if you had convinced us to drop the bandwagon, it's likely that one of you would have been the next focus
.
Please read this and think about it. Also please think about the inherent likelihood of me being scum when I was voting for MoS (mafia) and arguing (albeit not as strongly as I should have) against the BlueSin (townie) bandwagon.

There is one final comment directed at kwjibo: that was me on night 1. You know what I am talking about. You can confirm my innocence.

Stoofer: I don't think your vote on MoS is any evidence towards your towniedom. Like Seol said, if you're mafia, it's be a fine tactic to vote someone who's clearly miles from a lynch in order to look better later. If you're town, it was a lucky guess. Having said that, while I don't think the case for the defence is very good, I also don't think that the case for the prosecution is much stronger. Not strong enough for a vote until we've heard from kwyjibo, at least.

In other news, if kwyjibo can confirm your innocence, does that mean you can confirm his?

Assassin: I think it's a little unfair to say that I haven't contributed to the game! My FoS on kwyjibo was not based upon that one post. The fact is that he's posted very infrequently, yet appears immediately to post after being voted. Nothing he's said has shed any light on anything - he's lurking, and that's not good.

This is pretty substantial.
Unvote: Mr Stoofer
. I'll assume for the moment that Mr Stoofer's refraining from explaining details is likely because we don't need to know what's going on on his side, but we
absolutely
must hear from kwyjibo at this point.

One more note: While it's established that it's not necessarily the case that "________ Townie" role name form indicates being pro-town, I'd like to contend that being "________ (something-other-than-'Townie')" is possible as a pro-town role.

You are right - and kwyjibo should not give any more details either.

Vote Count:

kwyjibo - 1 (Seol)
Not Voting - 7 (Assasin, brushhopper, dybeck, kwyjibo, Mr Stoofer, SpeedyKQ, Thesp)

With 8 alive, it will take 5 to lynch. As things turned out, you guys got less than half a page. So there's therefore a
Deadline: Four days from now
. Recall that if you want anything, for example prods, more than your normal one-per-page vote count, deadline extensions*, or clarification of death scenes*, you have only to ask. If you have questions about your role, other's roles**, random messages you received during the night, or you're wondering if the comments I put on the bottom of my last message to you were serious or sarcastic, you have only to PM.

*Requires begging or multiple requests.
**You probably won't get much out of me on this topic.
To be Continued...

Definitely. The day's stalled because, and only because, we're waiting to hear from him - Stoofer's fate rests on kwyjibo's response, and he's otherwise looking scummy because he's not saying enough. I'd vote kwyjibo except, well, I already am.

I hate to interrupt but Seol, can you help me decide who to invite into the HFC as it is now called. I have no clue but am leaning toward someone, won't mention any names.
I will eventually kill you all.

I would just like to note that kwjjibo has posted in 2 other games on this forum, yet not this one? We need to hear from him and he's not saying anything. Also assasin please do not consider asking me to join. I can't really explain more, but it is role based.

Well, I'd propose having the closest thing we have to a confirmed innocent join the club, which after this:
kwyjibo wrote:woh woh woh I'm here, what is it that you are waiting on me for? I am a little confused on what happend(I didn't read it all very well), but i am here, oh wait i found it...hly shit...I missed an entire night oneamajig pm...I can in fact confirm that someone came to me at night...he broughtme somwhere safe apparently...I guess that i should give you some sort of thanks...ish...maybe...
means Mr Stoofer.

Kwyjibo, you told us a whole lot more than you needed to here, and you were warned about this in advance:-
Mr Stoofer wrote:

You are right - and kwyjibo should not give any more details either.
You've now basically spilled the beans about Mr Stoofer's role, one which is fairly unambiguously pro-town. Short of a counterclaim on Stoofer's ability, I think we can consider him a confirmed innocent now.

What about you, though? Have you been paying attention to this game
at all?
You've been coming across as a bumbling fool so far - I'm not sure if I can read you enough to say you're acting scummy per se, but you're definitely what I'd consider a liability to the town at the moment.

Don't just leave it to me, this is a town decision - asking me to make the decision is vulnerable to all the same flaws as making it yourself. Hold off on asking anyone yet.

That said, can anyone think of a reason
not
to invite Stoofer, given these events?

Mr Stoofer seems like a fine choice for the Happy Friends Club, and I'm honored you considered me to be your friend. :D

It appears that the day's events do indeed confirm Mr Stoofer as the role he says (if there's a scenario where he's not, I don't see it). They do not, however, confirm kwyjibo. He's not been very forthcoming in participating, and it appears to me that he's been posting just what's required of him, and not enough for anyone to get a read on him.
Vote: kwyjibo
. My best guess at the moment now, and the pressure should help get things figured out.

Also, given that things are rolling along, I'd like to
formally request an extension/retraction of the deadline
. We have directions to move and are moving there.

Also, fyi, I intend to vote kwyjibo, but I'm not going to do so until you've had a chance to make the invite.

Where is SquareKnight? He last posted in this game on April 19th. Yet he has posted a couple of times in Mini 183 since then. :!:
