btw, why were you voting for Lora?
Gut scum read, which turned out to be wrong unfortunately. Also because of the long argument with you/voided who are my top town reads at this point.
Mainly because of the continuing pressure you are both putting in an effort to get me to contribute more. Which I promise I will do assuming I survive until day 2. I get better once there's a few flips to analyze.

OH, good, that distraction's out of here. ([lastword]dumbass[/lastword])
But, now we can get down to some business.
Vote: TheShadow
Whisky already wonderfully explained your..."usefulness" here. And instead of trying to rectify your situation, you rather overreacted like you'd done nothing wrong (and somehow managed to "confirm" your Whiskers townread which I still don't understand). I had already explained that your way of playing the game isn't playing at all, though perhaps you might've missed that in the mess with Loran, so I'll happily quote it for you:
↑Voidedmafia wrote:If "your way" means "not saying anything at all and only trying to skirt by with 'X is y' and hoping no one will call me out on it", then "your way" isn't going to fly.
Besides, I've called you out already. Three times this game, actually, four if you count SCIENCE! And I demand an answer, not some "Well, I've already given you stuff" crap because you haven't. Not in any quantifiable way that could justify the post I just quoted.

^I support this. I'm willing to give you a chance, I'm even willing (grudgingly) to wait until we have more flips to expect any
real
content out of you. But I do expect you to try.
GNR, iiuc, hasn't even been modding his own game. I'd vouch for his absence being legitimate.
GNR: please correct me if I'm wrong.
NOW

Just a minute ago. It's more of a request, like, "Cindy, will you file these papers for me?" I want a second opinion to my own.

Maybe I wouldn't have to argue shit for all them pages if there was

going on. I asked you questions
while
I was arguing shit; rather than respond, you posted one-liner fluff. Why? You're intentionally, actively [not-answering] me, why is that?

Going over PM, I still don't like him. His attempted ignorance of (apparantly) how VCs work doesn't read as honest ignorance (I mean, if you've been in 5 freaking games here, all the VCs work the same way). The rest of his short ISO doesn't allevate anything I have against him.
Venrob is okay. I twitch a little at Post 162 as I don't know what exactly you plan to do about keeping the hammer in mind. P-EDIT: <_<
Absta's a slightly mixed bag. The only part I really like is the first half of 113, but posts like Post 118 and Post 193 rub me the wrong way, the former because I don't really know what you're trying to prove or point out with that, and the latter because there's no goddamn explanation.

It's this post that stands out to me.
I think the votecount bit at the beginning of the game was just him counting wrong. Also, if you consider that he's alive in five games, there's a very good chance he confused two of them, or even posted in the wrong one. Maybe he added the votes in another game to the votes in this game. I can barely keep track of a Mini Open most of the time. How do people even play Large Normal games!?

@Whiskers
Whiskers wrote:What would you have said if PM had said, "no, I don't like this game?" How would you have twisted it to say he was scum then?
You aren't basing that accusation on anything.
Serious question: What made you think I would "twist" his answer?
Answering your question.
If he said he disliked this game I would have asked him to replace out and be more careful when picking a game to join next time.
But that's not really the point-- he's got five freaking games to participate in and
he probably is going for the longest-running or most-interesting games first.
Can you see how my first question is relevant now?
I know what i'm doing.
So, why vote for PM?
That was my 3rd point. I'm not going to leave something scummy out just because other people are doing it as well. All the three points TOGETHER made me vote PM.
I'll note that you're emotionally attached to PM somehow. It's causing you to not think clearly.
I can think of two possible reasons:
1. You find me scummy because I wouldn't agree in thinking Lora was scum straight away. This is causing you to feel the responsibility to protect anyone I attack. VM & PM are prime examples.
Turns out I was right about Lora.
(You're going to "
twist
" this fact to make look scummy, aren't you? /sarcasm)
2. PM is your partner in crime.
I'll stick with reason 1 for now.
P.S. Your questions don't seem well thought out so far.
--
Post #152 has too many pointless questions. I don't see how they will help you determine my alignment.
I'll answer them if you insist.
----
@Voided
I'd say B) VOTE: Voided
I need that answer.
I'll give you a couple of days maybe, after that I WILL accuse you and push your lynch.
absta101: Do you NOT think Lora is scum? I'm not requiring you to say you're sure one way or another, just for you to confirm that you are NOT sure she is scum.
Okay, the case on her (just kidding xD) says he is scummy because he wants to quicklynch randomly yes?
1. That could be seen as scummy for reasons already stated.
2. That could be seen as town due to him being reckless which is a slight town tell.
Conclusion: null
I do want to ask:
Do the reasons this is very scummy some how NOT outweigh the fact that it's "reckless" which you say "is a slight town tell," if we assume that LoraScum couldn't know that and didn't use it to her advantage?
1. Randomly quicklynching is not helpful to town in any way and hurts the town considerably. Lora can't provide reasons for her votes, and can't provide defences against votes on her. She uses a lot of AtE with a little ad hom, but generally avoids answering questions addressed to her.
2. WIFOM argument that, even if townsided, is only a "slight town tell."
Conclusion? Scum, with a single, slight, lackluster townpoint that might actually be a scumpoint instead.
↑absta101 wrote:Whiskers I haven't looked into you much but I have a town read on you. The Mafia are taking advantage of this situation in a variety of ways,
you guys have turned a null (maybe null-leaning scum) read into a full scum read.
You should take a step back and re-evaluate things, it's clear that you've become very emotionally invested in this.
Who is that null read? Loran?
Why is it in the same sentence as "Mafia are taking advantage of this situ. in a variety of ways"? Does this mean that the Mafia are taking advantage of it
because
we've turned a null read into a scum read? Or taking advantage of it
by
turning it into a scumread?
Was it a nullread for you, that has turned into a scumread for you? How does this count as "you guys" (which, according to you, included VM, myself, and THE MAFIA!) doing it, instead of just (pretty much) me? Maybe with a little VM mixed in there.
Why do you say, "You've turned a null read into a scum read" as though it's a bad thing?
Name a few of the variety of ways Mafia is taking advantage of this.
And yes, these. This is mostly just trying to extort from you the information that should have been included with the post. That you waited until

First: What changed here?
↑absta101 wrote:This is like heaven for scum. Anyway. VOTE: Whiskers
For a bit, I was a townread, and with no explanation on your part, or playstyle-change on my behalf, you voted me. Voted me even before the flip, so you can't suggest I was "pushing a mislynch," because no town players knew it was a mislynch at that time.
Second:

This is in reply to me reminding you to answer my questions. You've had plenty of time, and in fact, many posts, in between then and now. Why have you not answered my questions? Why have you posted one-liners and fluff this entire time?

No, I forgot about those.
I'll answer later. I can't be bothered to do them now.
I'd like to hear your response to what i've said so far.
↑PMysterious wrote:No. I can't die. I'll help you guys find the scum. Give me 1 chance to prove I am town. (True fact: I am a Vanilla Townie)
It's this post that stands out to me.
True as well, but I can't really figure it out considering that there's practically nothing else after it. It sure looks scummy since he posted that and has since completely disappeared, but some little voice in the back of my head is telling me of some faint town desperation that makes me pause, so I need him to actually do something to make looking at this post worthwhile to me.
But that's not really the point-- he's got five freaking games to participate in and
he probably is going for the longest-running or most-interesting games first.
Can you see how my first question is relevant now?
I know what i'm doing.
Right, and this game is neither one of the longest running, nor one of the most interesting.
So the results of your quiz are either, a) You are scum, or b) you should replace out. No, bad. He said "Yes, I like this game" because he wants to play in the game. He wouldn't have signed up for it, I reckon, if he hadn't. "Liking" the game is not particularly relevant, btw, and I don't think it really proves anything. Can't you want to play in a game even if you don't like it? Can you like a game and still not want to post in it? Can't I just reply,
Absta, do you
like
this game? Why was your posting just as useless as PM's after I first asked you these questions?
I'm going to go ahead and assume you
do
like this game, since you stared answering questions as soon as they lost their relevance. That's scummy, you know.
That was my 3rd point. I'm not going to leave something scummy out just because other people are doing it as well. All the three points TOGETHER made me vote PM.
I'll note that you're emotionally attached to PM somehow. It's causing you to not think clearly.

Like this: "Turns out you were right?" If you thought Lora was town, why vote for her?
I'll stick with reason 1 for now.
P.S. Your questions don't seem well thought out so far.
Could you
bother
to pose some better ones?

@Whiskers
Your questions do nothing to determine alignment but I will have to answer regardless.
Be warned. From now on I will skip questions I find pointless. I'm not going to satisfy your need to argue with someone constantly.
--
Can't you want to play in a game even if you don't like it?
Here are some reasons you could join a game:
1. You could join a game because some of your friends have joined it.
2. You could join a game you have never experienced before (referring to the setup) just to try it out due to curiosity.
3 etc.
I hope you now realise opinions are formed after you experience something.
Thank you for the question though...
Can you like a game and still not want to post in it?
Fair enough, you could.
Which alignment do you think follows this more often?
If you thought Lora was town, why vote for her?
I tried to get him replaced, it didn't work.
Frankly, his playstyle and your obsession did more harm than scum ever could.
Could you bother to pose some better ones?
To me myself?
