Also, gin. As I stated before, I protected willows_weep last night. Because there were no deaths, willows_weep was most likely targeted. As the SK would not likely target himself, I don't think that w_w is anti-town whether or not he roleclaims.

I think 4 would lynch if I remember correctly, so I'll leave time for Scalebane to roleclaim. However it's 8:30 PM where I am, so I probably won't be back here for another 24 hours to place my vote if Scalebane's claim isn't convincing.

Well wait...Scalebane is the only one left out of all of us who hasn't claimed...Ugh I hate taking risks like this, but I'm convinced.

w00t I Knew it! Why di people still vote for me after scalebane admitted braniac, You didn't believe him? OMG. Why would someone lie about being scum. Sometimes people confuse me. Well, I'm guessing my cover story had something to do with the win.

Well, until Scalebane admitted being scum it was a great game. Thats a lot Bloojay, and Blackhawk. Superman's role was pretty powerful. But it was fun just the same. Thanks for such a great game!

No, it wasn't. This game design was far in favor of the town. The town only had to force a mass role claim, and then it was oh so few days until victory. Mafia and the SK couldn't make a convincing defense; all the town had to do was lynch anyone who didn't claim a JL member.

Oh, I'm not complaining. Themed games have the mass role claim problem, though, and it wasn't particular to this one. I'll reserve judgement as to whether the game was in favor of the town until I see the list of roles and abilities. If everyone JL member had super cool abilities then the game was totally in favor of the town, but otherwise it was a combo of bad luck and bad gaming that did in the mafia so soon. After all, there was a reason Coolbot and Tehgood got bandwagoned after all...

Oh yay, town won. And Yggs. thanks for the protection. I was so worried that night. Yea I know it was subtle Gin...but I like directness. Never objected though

No, I was Green Lantern. I had a "Great many powers but couldn't remember them at the time." I was just a dumb normal townie with night-immunity

...and I really don't think it was in favor of town that much, maybe a little. I think the mafia could have done some research and made a believeable claim. It was obvious that the original 7 weren't the only ones around (Aquaman is the one that floats in my head.) You could have just come up with a char that was related to Aquaman or like that

And that would be an ability. A particularly injurous one, as it negates kills. Look at it this way: You claim. Because the Green Lantern is a JL member, everyone believes it. It is no absolutly impossible for the mafia to kill you. No one would join a band wagon against you.

So, if I claimed Aquaman, I wouldn't have been lynched? Even though Aquaman was in the game? Huh?

Besides, come up with one character other than Aquaman with Aquaman-like qualifications.

The primary problem with this game is that the setup never took in account what would happen as players claimed their roles. It became clear to me about half way through the first day that the entire Justice League was in the game, and the only chance for the mafia was to presude the town that this rather obvious fact wasn't true.

It was even worse for Scalebane. With a player immune to night kills, it was impossible for him to win. The best he could've hoped for was a draw with him & Gammie left.

Oh well, I offed my nemesis at least. I'm done here.

I agree that it was pretty unbalanced. The town had a person immune to night kills, a doc, a person who could hide during the night, and an inventor (who could presumably give out doc abilities). So a maximum of 4 of the 8 townies could have been protected night 1 alone. It's no wonder there was only 1 night kill on the first night.
