Jesus waiting for this Garruk Relentless to answer my question is literally putting me to sleep.

I don't follow.

I'm not sure if I like this Elle wagon. I'm gonna go read something real quick. Please hold.

@Alfred: I was liking the manner in which Shadow was messing around (gut reasons I suppose) but this:
In post 149, Shadoweh wrote:Your face is probably scum. You're seriously not going to give any reasoning, are you. People like you are agonizing to talk to.
How can you like a wagon that's random? Put another way, if you think the wagon is made out of ADD rejects why would you join without some kind of validation so people understand you're not randomly voting?
Getting upset with and discrediting whoever-it-was for not giving reasons when the game's been going on for like a few hours. That makes me more cautious. That and the elle wagon is clearly not random.
Though I guess some people are more concerned with the possible scumslip, I just didn't like her melodramatic whiteknight.

He's saying it sounds like you know the scumteam is made up of wights, I believe, when there are essentially infinite possible scumteam themes.
And wights are a thing, in case you aren't aware. They're from the big cold place. I sure do like that place, even though it scares me sometimes.

I don't like anything Garruk has posted actually. This is the first thing I've felt the ability to engage. If you don't think the wagon is random you should be asking why they would call the wagon random as they're joining it. Either way it's a disingenuous post. Games don't start by waiting to make them happen, old geezer.

I think what she's getting at is the wights was intentional. He was voting for someone who hand t confirmed...therefore a wight. Badumtiss.
Also, it's a upick. In upicks faraday decides roles before alignments. So a scum team of wights is really really low on the possibility scale.

Actually it doesn't invalidate the theory--it can be Wights v. The Realm, with "wight-aligned" not necessarily being a wight.
$0.02. Not particularly interested in that wagon, I don't think, but Faraday has to call the scumteam
something
, and "Wights" isn't that far-fetched at all given the source material.

That seems like a flimsy reason to drop the point. There aren't wights to pick on the wiki in the first place, are there? The scumpicks would have to be made into them afterwards.

I liked the flavor reasoning behind the elle wagon. I guess calling it a random wagon is a bit of a misnomer, sure, but the "wight" slip seemed genuine to me. I know faraday assigned roles before alignments, but wights is a perfectly fine scum flavoring--they are in direct opposition to the Realm, and as a sort of zombie-analogue, anyone can really be one, IIRC.

Ugh. I can't even explain why that answer bothers me in a way that makes me sound sane. It sounds perfectly reasonable and innocent. Maybe it's because 'I liked the flavor reasoning' makes me want to punch something. I don't think the flavor argument was there when you made that vote, unless PrideAndCHESSKID highlighting the word WIGHT was a code word?

I mean, I guess that Faraday could just flavor the scumteam as wights, but it doesn't seem like Faraday, especially when there are definitely a couple of explicitly undead characters that could get picked.
It was a shotgun thought, and in retrospect, not a terribly good one. *shrug*

wights is a red herring since if 1 went with that argument the whitewalkers would be a scum faction rather than wights. with a possible recruitment of a wight.

Elle was never scum because of "Wight." She's still a good vote.
Quadz is making votes he believes we'll believe he believes instead of votes he believes though. VOTE: Quadz
Kanye was super useless / frustrating as scum in Revolution Mafia. He's been pretty solid so far here.

Sure are, but what if they weren't picked, or were picked and rolled scum? Or were picked and rolled Town and Faraday can make up a reason for those specific characters to be helping the Realm (see: Coldhands)?
I just don't think it's a safe assumption to make that a scumteam isn't named Wights or something like that--we have the Realm with its assorted characters bickering and playing the pointless game of thrones, and we have the Others trying to completely overwhelm the Town. Winds of Winter, etc.
The problem with the Wight theory is a different one: elleheathen is being flavorful in her posts, which means it's probably not a slip of any kind.
With that said, it's a 24p game, this is going to be multiball because Faraday and because common sense.
Still obviously not completely here. I'll have actual content later other than "these things are silly assumptions pls stahp".
Mr Bordenpire, pls to be metaing quadz asap thanks.

SSK here. Nat's really big on flavor analysis. Upon seeing wight and in addition chesskid bringing it up, it sparked interest in the wagon. I totally agree with this vote, for what it's worth.
