If that was a scum maneuver, I'd put hard money cash on it being in direct response to the chucklewagon that predicated it. Even that is a far, far less likely then the truth when you've got an entire bag of lies as scum to choose from.
As for wanting AeroSK dead its a reaffirmation that while I'm not down with a 7 page lynch I'm super not down with the 50+ page nonsense I've seen the ~meta~ turn to even worse since I've been gone. So, we squeeze out what we need to and then go from there. I haven't been persuaded that an end of the day that isn't dead SK isn't a good death.
Before the end of the day, you can expect some serious notes, but for now, I'm being patience.
You talk about squeezing out what we need to before ending the game day. I'm not seeing a whole lot of squeezing so far.

RVS ended as soon as Brian claimed Miller. You had two posts that did nothing before that.
Eh I want to give him a chance to contribute (probably a few more rl days) before I decide he's intentionally being useless. But thanks for explaining. I like your vote a lot more than the other two on him.
PEDIT: yay someone else sees it too

@mod
Can we see sample Miller, Mafia Goon and Serial Killer Role PMs?
No clue if that's actually allowed

Where does heart fit-in concerning a game designed around distrust and deceit?
You explained it yourself here:
In post 99, fferyllt wrote:In the course of looking for scum, I usually identify players I feel pretty strongly are town. I like to work toward genuine consensus about the game state with players I think are town. Sometimes my towndar works so much better than my scumdar that I wind up mostly doing a PoE process with my reads.
I sometimes get accused of extreme buddying for my play style. Doesn't bother me.
I don't consider it scummy at all. I do it too sometimes, especially if I'm having trouble pegging someone as scum.
It's also a game about paranoia and trust. Sometimes the paranoia is unjustified. Sometimes the trust is misplaced. Sometimes.

You're jumpy, Aero momentum was slowing down, and you saw two recent votes for Maestro. What's the
town
motivation of a third pressure vote in quick succession?
Pressure on a lurker. I thought that much was obvious.

Kay.
Hey you. Play the fucking game or leave.
@SpyreX: Hey. If you're so intent on finding scum, why are you taking a passive position? You should be asking questions and pressuring reads. I don't understand your approach.

Because it doesn't feel right that Miller claims should be null when they make so many waves. It's stated with an intent of something, it's just not always for the same reason.
That it does nothing is your opinion.
It probably is a lot less effective as a pressure tool now that you're DISCUSSING IT.

His treatment of the miller claim rubbed me the wrong way. He says Brian's claim isn't the "usual garbage" because he didn't try use it as a shield, when in fact he did. His angle was specifically "I'm a miller, look elsewhere", and he only backtracked when called out on it. I was particularly displeased by Spyrex's claim that it's "impossible for scum not to bite" on a miller claim, because it's factually untrue (in my experience, scum typically don't attack claimed millers on D1) and reads as an underhanded attempt to dissuade town from voting Brian. I've seen this exact type of argument from scum before (again, reference user plenty in TV U-Pick mafia). His more recent posts haven't been better. It all reads insincere and off to me.
In post 158, SleepyKrew wrote:I agree that he needs to be dead before LYLO, but don't you think a D1 policy lynch right out the gate is a not-so-good idea?
I'm not pushing a policy lynch. I think claiming miller on D1 is scummy and I think Brian is scum.

In post 143, Brian Skies wrote:I'm juggling 9 games right now and this game just started. Sorry for considering a game that just started as low priority. If you still have a problem, just push for a policy lynch. I won't blame you for it.
Clearly you are paying attention and clearly you have time to argue about your miller claim and clearly you have time to give me cheek. I can see this game being a low priority for you, but it's also low maintenance. It doesn't take more time to form an opinion on a game as short as this than it does to read it, and your failure to do so illustrates your scummy mindset to me.

In post 114, Smudger wrote:As for the comment regarding my "opportunistic vote" I disagree with that for the simple reason it is not opportunistic, I am currently uncomfortable with Aeros play so far and I suggest you retread the post with my vote as I say
More than Baaaaaaahhj..
The post with your vote couldn't have been more ambiguous. Your stated reason was that you "didn't like the attitude". What attitude was making you uncomfortable and why did you find it scummy?

SleepyKrew and Garmr move into the tentative town-pile. I'm inclined to put Plum there, but haven't really seen enough.
I look at Smudger's already quite substantial ISO and I see preciously little interest in trying to figure other players out.
unvote, vote: Smudger
Though people really have to start explaining to me how they are reading Brian as town, apart from his claim.

One vote does not a wagon make.
He's still a newb and obviously isn't used to your style of play.
You know why you play this way. You know why you get false positives.
Give it a rest.
