Yes, it would be so nice if votes stayed put when placed.
My point is that what's going on in a game is never as simple as what the vote count says.

I never said it was, Bulb.... ? Why are you acting like that was the end all be all of my push on TPR?

ffery (this is ffery, right?), it is bugging me that you aren't commenting on the game or influencing it in any way - definitely a far cry from Newbie 1415 or your other games that I read where you were town. Your actions match up much more closely with your early behavior in HPCOS. I just haven't felt a presence from you that I usually get - and it is generally difficult to forget that you are in a game.

Just because F-16 doesn't have the most votes now doesn't mean that he isn't the easiest lynch to push. If you had been paying attention to what was happening in the game, you'd find that almost everybody has reservations of one sort or another about F-16, essentially making him the default lynch for the day (or compromise). Pay attention. If a player is unable to push the wagon they want, they are likely to change their vote to F-16.
Yes, I was right, I like you.
As far as I know, I haven't played with any of you, so those were first impressions only. What did I miss?

The degree to which his play has moved the game forward.

Nacho and I haven't crossed paths since I found out the game started. I p much agree with his town reads, but I want to talk to him about the pitoli vote.

It better not be hammer TiP. I will kill you tomorrow if it is.
We are barely 3 days into D1 and you're trying to hammer? WTF kind of anti-town, discussion stopping shit is this? I haven't even gotten home and had a chance to talk more in-depth with TPR or sangres.
NOT. COOL.

You implied it pretty heavily.
I haven't commented at all on your push on Rose. I just felt that your rebuttal was very poor.
That being said, I think you're wrong on Rose and are just overreacting. There, now I've commented on your push on Rose.
Null/town, mostly due to PoE. I didn't care for his early game, but I really don't think he and Pitoli are scum together.

This is generally how I work as well
BUT there's a huge difference between townread hunting and buddying. Some of your comments (such as "So do you agree with me that ETL is obvtown" for one) don't seem like your townread hunting, but that your trying and failing at buddying.
No but you have to convince me (and the rest of the town I guess)
Put it this way - I don't give a shit that he voted me, so you better convince me that that vote was a scummy thing. Or that he's doing other scummy things.
PEDIT: Now that I've read the rest of your posts, you're bullshitting. Give us something concrete about TIP, or I'll vote you (dundundun)
.
FWIW TiP's reactions to TPR's "case" is townie.

Stop grasping for straws. If you think ETL is scum, say so.
UNVOTE:
This game gets too close to L-1 for me to still be throwaway voting.
That said, I agree with the notion that pit's rationale for his sangres vote is empty as fuck.

I was trying to understand Sangres's thought process there, not buddy to ETL. Sangres are definitely sharp enough to see what I see regarding ETL and their questions somewhat pinged. It was as if they weren't seeing what was obvious to me so I pushed them on it. I already knew that saying ETL was obvtown wasn't going to win me any favors with her - that was not the point of my observation but rather to push Sangres to give their opinion.
I don't just "townread-hunt," I spend plenty of time explaining my townreads in depth and convincing other players that they are town (if they aren't convinced).
The fact that I wrote a wall to explain my ETL-townread should at least tell you that I am not bullshitting reads. I am analyzing of posts to dig into the player's motivation.

I think her tone and demeanor in reaction to the Sangres vote makes her town though. Do you think her reaction is scummy?

I don't think pit or her reaction was scummy.
I did much prefer your explanation F-16 and wish you'd done that to begin with.

Her reaction to Sangres' initial vote? Kinda, yeah. I think the fact that she responded to Sangres' vote with a weak unfounded vote is scummy.
There's nothing about her later interactions with sangres that screams town.
In general she looks like she's more concerned about self preservation than actually scumhunting, but I acknowledge that that's a null tell. To sum it up I'm not sure if she's scum, but she's definitely not in my townie pile.

ETL, I guess I should have been more forthcoming. It was partly intuitive and it took time for me to figure out how to put it in words.
What do you think of Sangres? I am underwhelmed by ffery's contribution so far and feel that if town, she would take charge and lead the game (somewhat like what you are doing). Even if she hasn't discussed things with Nacho, I still think that she would take a stronger stand on the game.
