It might just be that your explanation didn't include enough juggling and pie throwing metaphors for me to be able to comprehend but I think most likely it is that you forgot to enlighten the clown populace as to your reasoning for Doctown.

what's scum abut Aegor? I don't like the lack of (expressed) motivations behind his last votes, but that seems to be a common thing around here.

Freak; want to vote Doc with the cool kids?

and leave the scummiest of the bunch with zero votes? nah. you guys seem to be doing fine without me.

Hes town so it would be better to have zero votes on him, yes.

then why he's been acting like scum that has been cornered since after I started questioning his motives?

besides, I already expressed myself on doc, so you can say I picked a side of that fence before it became mainstream.

Upon re-read, I still think the following posts are the worst in the game:

Spoiler:
In post 37, Doc Holliday wrote:^goodposting

CDB is probTown

Who? Neither of the reads posted since your last were flippant, they both pretty clearly stated their reasoning.
Oh, you're referring to me calling CDB probTown. That was more obvious than I thought.

CDB is putting clear effort into sorting the good from the bad
, and right away spotted a cognitive dissonance that I missed. That is not how scum tend to think, their cases tend to be built slowly and carefully, because they have to think about it more.
In post 52, ChannelDelibird wrote:Jordan, posting townreads as well as scumreads is useful because it gives people more opportunities to take concrete stances on each other, which is always a good thing. For me, the difference between scum townreading a buddy and scum simply 'not scumreading' a buddy is large enough that it should not be discouraged. Openness and readability are pro-town.

At this point,
I have mild-to-reasonably-strong townreads on Doc
, Jordan, Cooldog and Freak. I also like Aegor's response to me here as a contrast to his demeanour when I last saw him as scum, so I'll look elsewhere for the time being. I think his scumread on me is pretty silly, given our recent experience, but he'll get over that.

Unvote: Aegor

Vote: JKMatthews

In post 75, Aegor wrote:VOTE: Doc for scummy reasoning and agreeing with CDB when there was no reason to.
You're aware that waiting a couple of pages to say "Oh my god! You suck!" doesn't make it less scummy, right? You're also committing
exactly
the same scummy sin that CDB initially called you out for - seeing something, going on about something else, then going back and saying "You know what, my vote should be
here
, even though I didn't think it warranted it right away." That kind of calculated sophistry does not scream Town.

To the people that have been saying I have bad reasoning, or haven't explained, or whatever else, fuck you. I explained well my solid reads perfectly well. Jordan is scummy for trying to build cases on people out of thin air, early nervous votehopping, and
really
bad reactions to being voted, CDB is probably Town for demonstrating a logical, discerning thought process, and Aegor is getting scummier for cognitive dissonance. Everyone else is too weak a read to bother with.

If Freak ever flips scum, this post deserves attention:
In post 109, Titus wrote:Got ninjaed by undo.

Undo's comments seem to be discrediting the newb, but they all appear to be valid criticisms. I'm going to deliberately avoid interrupting that to see if Freak can model constructive scumhunting questions. Whenever I see something that says, well so and so isn't scumhunting, my alarm bells go off that someone's trying to lynch the newbie.

I suggest we lynch Freak and go after Titus tomorrow.
