Yes, it's to analyze the info from it, and then conclude after you've run the math that you don't have all the pieces of the puzzle and should work off of reads, not role.

Also, we had just over 200 pages at daystart. It's been barely a couple of days since then, and we're at 240. Bullfuckingshit, "Lynching Mastin will reduce noise"; it's only increased the god-damned noise exactly as a fucking warned everyone it would.

Yeah, there was a claim explosion, but that doesn't justify that many pages appearing that quickly. This is going to be a game easily giving Fire Emblem a run for its money...

Basically, yeah. AP's play isn't that of a town player trying to figure the game out. It's of a scum player, cheekily fucking around, dancing to the victory tune of "You got fucked" to any and all town to see, be it from the grave in the present or in hindsight for the past.

I did no fucking such thing. I said I couldn't accurately summarize my fucking reasons, you cheeky fucking scumbag. My reasons are literally scattered throughout my iso with essentially every mention of you.

I used that as an example of people being infallible with reads that are normally pretty on point.

Everytime Mara faced off with Tammy, it didn't end well for her. Lynched D1 in Swagtown and Tales of Vesperia, fooled by scum-Tam in Stacking the Deck and Too Many Heads. I had the feeling that scum-her would want to avoid interactions so that Tammy's townread on Orc would stay. But, a town-her would want to work with Tammy in developing reads. While she did initially avoid her, I think what she actually wanted was to work with her and it felt really genuine.

One of my main problems, and why I gave this game so damn much effort.

Every other game I was in at the time this game started that I can think of? I was scum in. Paranoia. Book of Shadows. 172, even. Left 4 Dead.

...And then I get in here. And not only am I town, but I can tell I'm town before I've even gotten my role PM thanks to SSK.

And people wonder why I put so much into this game.

Like, seriously. I really, really mean it. I've gotten so damn good at being scum, that I've gotten to the point where you can sorta tell just by my investment level.
Apathy? Probably bored scum.
Actually putting effort in? Probably invigorated town.

There's a reason why I can write a damn-good MD article on playing scum. (Well, once formatting and ongoing games are taken care of. As in, this game, since I dumped a lot of my best material into here that I don't have elsewhere.)

If a town player says they believe (present tense!) that I was making noise in the thread and that the thread is less noisy with me gone, they are SERIOUSLY FULL OF SHIT and should take a damn look around them. I can see them saying it past tense, in that they thought it at the time and now are realizing, "Guess I was wrong about that", but I was one of the least fucking noisy players in the damn game.

a role that requires you to submit names to a scum team so that they can choose your target is always going to be either a fake-claim or a poorly thought out role from the mod (because if said role submitted the names very close to the deadline, the mod would have to allow extra time for the scum team to discuss and decide on the action etc etc)

i'm leaning towards cabd shit more being more likely than AP scum
