I would have to say, scum. I really hated their early game play. I haven't disliked them that much after that, but I don't feel they've really redeemed themselves either. My general uneasiness about them has not been allayed.
I am struggling to sort townbeard or scum as well. His mindset (the point of the patient hypothetical) seems to be to trust Klingon and not investigate to the alternative.
EE was town reading me briefly, which evaporated right at the start of the itepip and Spifflop counters.
It feels like scum have day hat and decided against agency capturing me but to call me scum and try to mislynch.- Passionate Storm

I'm flattered. I'm sorry. I should not have brought this up. I would like to discuss this post-game however, if you get the chance.
Absolutely. While I think you're either scum or a townbeard, I think you would be very receptive to my theories about how town and scum should behave. regardless of alignment, you have ticks and strategy beliefs that don't work based on your personality.
You're welcome to hydra with me or crash any game of mine. Would be fun.

Awesome. Like I mentioned earlier I have played mafia before, but my play was nightmarishly bad and I thought I was doing an excellent job, which only made it worse. I've obviously learned quite a bit since then (or at least I hope it's obvious). I could go in detail about this but it's not absolutely necessary right now, so I'll keep to myself about it for now.
I have had quite a few thoughts about strategies and theories about mafia and I'm kind of trying to implement ideas that I have had little practice with here, but you have to start practicing somewhere, right? It would definitely be good to discuss these with someone who has more experience when I know they're not scum.
So I would definitely love to hydra with you on another game.
All that said, what's a townbeard?
A townbeard is someone who is convinced scum are the one true town.
Just pm me to get the hydra process started.- Passionate Storm

I expect a townie to have voted for Spiffeh at some point, thus convincing scum the wagon has a chance.
If a scum is wagoned early, scum have two options. Bus or find a counter. I think we both can agree bus is not likely an option. So Klingon is thrown out as a counter suggestion.
I believe this is your explanation of why dapper and Klingon could be on the same team? Could you explain this?
Sure. If a scum is wagoned, scumchoose either bus or get town to wagon someone else. Given the stalled wagons, bussing is remote. So in Klingon scum world...
That suggests scum would be fighting for a counter wagon and attempt to undercut the reasons people are pushing Klingon.
In this case, staunch defenders of Klingon are suspect (and hence why scum pretend to suspect the block). If someone is abnormally invested in depending scum or takes invalid positions, there's a good chance of buddies.- Passionate Storm

Maybe. She might be scum. I'm thinking about it.
I do have a question for you, though:
If you believed someone was scum to the fullest, would you do anything to get them lynched, even lie, as town?
Not on d1. Lying as town is only appropriate when you can correct the lie or the lie only hurts scum. For instance, I am fond of bulletproof and macho lies if I do not want a doctor heal and need to Wifom scums.- Passionate Storm

Ok.
Hmmm.
Alright.
VOTE: Klingon
I reserve the right to call you scummy as much as I want d2 if she flips town. No "I was town so I couldn't have known her alignment" or any of that. Yeah, I know exactly what I'm doing. If I'm alive d2 you're not going to strongarm or WIFOM me. I will not give you the benefit of the doubt. You will have to convince me that you're town or I swear I will push your lynch until I run out of breath or you get lynched. And keeping me alive tomorrow will not make me doubt that you're scum.
If you are going to threaten me, at least use something with a high likelihood of happening. KC is scum. Almost certainly.- Passionate Storm

I enjoy listening to little birds. I am a bird myself, after all, and birds of a feather must fly together. Little birds can many a time see things below the canvas of trees that I cannot see as well up here. I think if a little bird was certain that dapper was scum, I would help the little one in dapper s lynch.
The little bird is certain, but interesting you avoided taking a stance on if the little bird was real or not. We both know what the bird is. So your move.- Passionate Storm

Nope. I am good on DS then lynching you.
Good to know practically my whole townblock is likely right though. Keep ignoring me. Please.
Also *batting eyelashes* is pretty please. I softed just to reaction test. Lols.
@Gwen, The little birde was testing what EE would do if hypothetically faced with a guilty on DS, who he had as hard town. Rather than fight the birdie, he waffled and voted it. Not the response I expected from town.
