Cerb: a good chunk of the Purple Heart scumread had to do with what i said earlier about the Shining Dreamers hammer. i thought it was likely Alisae was responsible somehow. with that actually in the hands of Almost (and god, is this his town meta), that falls apart. so what i have left is Alisae's play reminding me of eir scumgame with me, and no real reason to think Purple Heart is town beyond beeboy claiming the hydra is obvtown. the crusade against mastina is something Ali could easily do as scum. townreading it is really ridiculous to me.

and Maki hasn't explained if she agrees with that townread and why, which is what i'd really love to see from Maki and would really help me in figuring out that hydra. (<3) right now i just find myself disagreeing a lot with the beeboy side, and if they're town i just want to figure it out and stop worrying about it.

i have three locktown reads i stated earlier. Creature, RR, and Almost. there is absolutely no way any of these three are scum. (i also want Maki's opinion on this.)

and finally, scum Almost only pretend to give up and say "lynch me".

First of all, Genocide is CLEARLY intended to be townsided.

Know why? Because it's a balancing mechanism. When town takes some hits, they get access to what Varsoon believes to be the stronger abilities, and/or scum lose access to their stronger abilities.

i'm not sure i agree based on Purple Heart's claimed ability, and can only assume you are setup speccing this based on your own role and balancing methods such as the one used in SU2. i do think Varsoon took a lot of nods from the success of that game in this one, so you might be right.

How do you not know how it works? Did the ability give a time limit for the scum response? Was it just that as soon as they all voted, it would take effect? Was provision made for a tied vote? How about if the day ended before the votes all came in? Were there any limitations on when you were allowed to trigger it?

Oh. Can anyone confirm that they had a way to generate a shitload of mana for themselves or another person? I had a spell that cost more than I could possibly make in a day, and B&M claimed to have a spell that cost *twice* as much mana as they could generate.

So, either we're going back to magic, or somebody had an ability to create a bunch of mana, or varsoon put in red herring spells that we were never meant to cast(which is a dick move).

i can confirm every spell was possible to cast. can't answer why but by the parameters you set, Varsoon didn't just red-herring them.

if i can manage to get a Best Friends PT with every living player in the game, i can reveal IC and then do something in addition to that. as you can see it means i'm relying on the activity of the entire playerlist to do so, so it's pretty difficult. i thought the reward was worth it but i hate seeing the game stalling like this so i'm just going to come clean about the significance, so those who don't understand can see why it was important.

There has to be something that would significantly indicate it I feel. I just made a connection to the episode of Avatar The Last Airbender where King Bumi gives Aang a bunch of tests and the last one is to find out his name. The way Aang finds it out is thinking about the different tests and how they all required hi to use another angle. As such I'm thinking pooling together our different puzzles should help. My suggestion is we all submit what our puzzles were in the PTs we have with Chara and then it can collect those and make a logical guess on the game name. I might be talking out of my ass here though, I just have a hunch this could be right.

I’m happy with the result though; sounds like he made a good decision. Chara and me never were able to discuss it; due to the ice storm in my area. option 1 was resupply at la vie en rose: Nancy and i are both double-loved. (two votes extra)
option 3 was a peace treaty: we'd pick a faction and get access to their PT. would have been a good choice too but i picked the one i did because of how day 1 went. if Nancy and i had both had enough time to talk about it i think we would have gone here based on her preference, but i'm fine with it really.
