pedit: i am, he reminded me. i thought tris was a little towny earlier but that fell away with her lack of sorting since Brigitte. her being town has a lot to do with Xtoxm scum so i'd like to be sure on that front.

Xtoxm pushing tris here after Brigitte flipped town after pretty carelessly choosing to keep his vote on Brigitte even while the tris wagon built up, with absolutely no comment on any of tris's posting beforehand, is either lazy or scum.
and calling out Ank for "lining up mislynches" when he's literally done that is a major lack of gamestate awareness, same as his shading of Ank without any real evidence when she's a pretty impossible lynch at this point.
he just isn't really doing anything. if he's town he needs to get in this game. if he's scum he's coasting. i think it's the latter.
okay with lynching Flubber.

voting a player to sort them is such a basic thing to do. of the things that have made me suspicious of skitter this game the vote on you does not even register. you voted Succint to have something to do with your vote/try to sort between players. skitter's vote had the same base reasoning.

not to mention that the consistency of voting within one's scumlist is one of the easiest things for scum to do, so doing so or not doing so is not all that informative.

no offense to Elbirn, but it's simply hard to trust how sure he is in his reads when he is missing some major context from the game. i believe he has those reads but i don't think it makes a lot of sense to be mad at players for fighting against them considering that.

Creature participating consistently, having reads i can see the progression of and actively sorting the list with a thought process i can follow is town Creature to me. scum Creature has to really work to care about the game and to have a good time in it.

I think I wasn't very clear in my post. The wifom thing wasn't a reason to vote xtoxm. It was something that was frustrating me. It was actually something that made me more wary of the wagon, but as I said, I've been having trouble finding somewhere else to vote.

even if scum wouldn't have outright lost on a Flubber lynch there, having to confirm 5 townies would still have screwed scum over. i'd like opinions on this though.

Nim: this reveal changes everything, that's why my reads changed. this isn't a normal game. skitter's consistent pushing against Flubber means a

finally, the read on you: like i said, the actual setup shook things up quite a bit. you're in leftovers because i'm putting less stock in my townread on you now, given Ank's comments about your abilities as scum and what you would do as scum. i'm not sheeping Ank's read on you, but i can't put you as a townread or use you for PoE when i'm not sure, i have to think of worlds where you might be scum.

now, saying that, i'm not particularly interested in lynching Nim. here's the reason:
assume Nim is scum. if Reck is town, Nim would want to encourage me lynching him and get me back on her side.
if Reck is scum, Nim is trying to save her buddy.

so there's no reason for me to want to lynch Nim here. if he's town, i believe Nim is too. if he's scum, same thing.

however, i'm currently pretty convinced on Reck scum given my other reads. i do need to lock down other ones, however.

Elbirn is admittedly one of my less-strong townreads, but i still don't think scum him makes himself a target (seeing as scum loses if he gets lynched now) like he has. Reck also opposed the Flubber wagon, but he did so in a far less controversial way.
Elbirn also feels pretty independently town to me.

be shaken up by that flip. it changes the game dramatically. in a normal game, bussing is seen very often and is less useful for reading scum. in this game, scum couldn't risk it. towncred from bussing is simply not worth having to confirm 5 townies. and now, scum can't go all the way on a bus at all.

and Nim's pattern here is near-identical to a situation i had with Nancy Drew in a previous game, in terms of our reads on each other. it rings more towny than not, and even if i'm wrong, i simply don't see a scenario where scum Nim reacts this way to me wanting to lynch town Reck.

i don't know if she ever got a chance to look at it, but my recent scumame i linked was a game where the scumteam was entirely lovers on day 1, then split into two groups of lovers on following days. so not exactly the same as here, but another situation where bussing is very difficult.
i fully intend to use that game to show why i'm town here. it's actually very convenient. i can't fake this.

in this sort of game, scum has to really push things in order to set up for the endgame. and it's also possible to miscalculate and get closer to a lynch than planned.
but there has to have been attempts to make the wagon not get to a lynch, from someone besides Flubber himself.

even if the IC claim was unplanned, tris voting Flubber there seems like about as much one can commit to a bus without actually hammering. i know it could have been a risk to get some cred, but Flubber was also wanting to vote tris earlier. i think i probably talked about this before but the associations just don't really come together with tris scum. independently i might read her as scum but i'm willing to put her in the townpile based on this.

i think one of my townreads is wrong. i really don't want it to be skitter and i wonder if that's making me incapable of properly reading her. it's also why i want to lynch the less-towny scum, whoever it is, than have to worry about sleeper scum.

Nim's reaction to my new list is also not one i think scum, even self-conscious scum, would have here. considering, again, that she has no reason to react that way when the one i wanted to lynch was Reck, not Nim. (unless Reck's her partner but i think i already said why i'm not worried about that.)

and if someone is on your blacklist you also need to tell them that so they don't join on their alt. i don't know if skitter told you though.

pedit: then the next time you're in a game and skitter joins is because she didn't realize it was you, PM skitter and tell her to /out. that's literally all. this shouldn't happen again.

i'm sorry for upsetting you. i didn't realize that what i was saying was hurtful, but i did definitely post while heated and that isn't a good idea. my issues were entirely related to how skitter would not have joined this game (and i don't think she should have) if she had been PMed to /out for her peace of mind and yours. but that is out of game and an opinion and i brought it up at an inappropriate time.

i also may have misunderstood the rules regarding alts and blacklists. i took what i knew from a rules clarification post made by zoraster about it where he mentioned player blacklists and mod blacklists together.

i didn't mean to insult nor bully anyone.

pedit: i'm confident in all of my townreads besides tris, i think. so Elbirn/tris/Succinct/NMSA are the only players i would consider lynching.
i think out of them i like Elbirn as a vote the most.

Elbirn because he's not in my pool of players i'm convinced are town (and i have reasons i'm very convinced or for all of them), and also because what i townread was something i still think is towny (the way his emotions came out in his reads) but that i don't think is unfakeable as scum.

i think his partner is one of the other players i'm also not locktownreading, but i don't know who, yet. Succint's recent posting sort of convinced me they may be town. but within the PoE it's mostly just 'feelings'. i'm only okay going with it because i'm so confident in who i have as town.

i can't figure out who Succinct's partner would be if scum, and i'm not convinced Elbirn is town in spite of his frustration seeming real.

on the other hand, if Succinct is town i feel she should be dead with a scum hammer. unless both scum are already on her? this needs more examination of exactly when and how long Succinct was at L-1 for but i don't have the time for that right this minute.
